The basketball iq and toughness of Emily cady and hallie will be missed greatly.  You cannot underestimate how critical that is to our success.

Power's been out since about 8:00 this morning......just came back on...NET1... with about 4 min. to go. ...NU wins !

 

I had an old portable radio, but batteries ran out at the half. Ne was behind.......so what happened in the second half? Must have really turned it around.

 

At the end of the game there was an ad for a recruiting show Thurs at 7...NET1...womens?

Hailie Sample was clearly the star of the game. 7 for 7 shooting, 7 rebounds - 5 offensively, 3 assists and a steal.

 

Hailies's shooting percentage is very high (maybe the team best?), from all the inside shots...but she's better at getting in position to make some offense happen. She and Cady are working together real well in the paint.

Nebraska played better D making Michigan miss shots. And shut down Goree, and the Huskers started to make shots.

When Rachel hits shots we're hard to beat. Both Emily and Hailie did a great job of shutting down Goree. Hailie hitting her lay ups and grabbing some key offensive rebounds was key! Defense came alive the second half. Good to see Tee nail those three's at very crucial times!

 

#14 from Michigan is still looking for her shorts after Natalie gave her that eyebrow fake at the free throw-line and went around her for an easy two!! Play of the game!!

 

Would have liked to see Jasmine Cincore get some minutes especially since her folks traveled all the way from Memphis to see her play! No reason she couldn't have gotten in for a few minutes, Kalenta too for that matter.

 

It looked liked Brandi's knee is still bothering her. She was limping at times out there.

The 5300 is how many tickets were sold. They don't deduct no shows. That's how the football sell out streak continues. There have been lots of football games with empty seats.

I thought that Nebraska didn't do that, That they only counted tickets through the turn stile? Did you make the game Fastbreaker?
