First of all, I just joined the board a day or so ago, so I apologize in advance if this topic has been exhausted prior to my joining.

Curious as to your opinions on our On-Court leadership, and how it's structured?

Initially, you would think Terran and Shavon are the two "leaders" based on production and stats.

Terran is very emotional and I think that helps his game, and at times hurts his game. I'm sure he has no problem getting on guys when needed, but wonder if everyone responds to him??

Shavon is smooth and steady, shows some emotion, but he strikes me as more of a "lead by example" type and doesn't seem as vocal.

In the locker room, who's our "voice" of leadership?? (besides the coaches) Rivers?

As far as chemistry, I didn't even think about this being a factor this year since we returned virtually 90% of the team from last year.  But Sipple's article in the LJS addressed this, and it got me thinking...do we have some chemistry issues this year?  I think the players get along fine, but you wonder if on court chemistry has been affected somewhat.  I haven't seen any glaring examples, but curious if anybody had any thoughts??

I think you are thinking about this too hard IMO.  It's pretty simple...right now we have two guys that can put the ball in the hoop and that's Petteway and Shields.  If one of them has an off night like Shields did vs Creighton we are going to struggle to score.  Couple that in with a lack of post presence and limited "good" depth we are going to struggle some nights until someone else steps up.  And that somebody needs to be Pitchford IMO...he is the only other person on this team that can go out and get points vs Big 10 foes.
