ajb5856 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Has Nebraska as an 11 seed on the 3/10 update. However, this should go up. Many of the brackets included were updated 3/8 or 3/9 and don't have Nebraska in the field yet. All of the brackets aside from one that were updated 3/10 have Nebraska in the field and ranging anywhere from a 9-12 seed. Quote
ajb5856 Posted March 10, 2014 Author Report Posted March 10, 2014 Iowa comes in at an 8 seed. But just as Nebraska's seed could rise when the other brackets are updated, Iowas seed could drop. Quote
#GATA Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 http://espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology  Seeded as 11 playing UCLA Quote
PimpMario Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 http://espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology  Seeded as 11 playing UCLA So we didn't really improve our seeding...  I guess theoretically not being in a play in game might be good... Quote
JohnnyOneNut Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 CBS bracket is interesting...potential 2nd round matchup with KU Quote
swoll cracker Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I think Nebraska is locked in at no worse than an 11 and can move to a 10 with a win over Ohio State in the Big 10 Tournament. It's a crapshoot to guess how high they might rise if they win a semi or championship game. Quote
Tallbaby21 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I'm down for a trip to San Antonio. Quote
swoll cracker Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 http://espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology  Seeded as 11 playing UCLA An MWC match-up between Miles and Steve Alford. They know each other well. And I don't think they're friends. That would be awesome! Quote
GATA Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 All I care about right now is 1) making the dance, and 2) not being in the play-in game. I've seen some people talk about a potential loss to Purdue knocking us out of the tourament. I think we're in regardless, but I suppose I'll be pulling hard for Ohio State because a potential loss to them should do little to ding our resume. I think we're a solid 11 seed right now with the potential to jump to a 10 with a win over Ohio State. Quote
The Coach Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Looking at the projected 6 and 7 seeds.....I'd love a first-round matchup with UCLA, Texas, or Kentucky. Â VCU? Not so much. Â We don't really excel against full-court pressure. Quote

Easier opponent all the way.Worrying about a loss to Purdue is silly. We are going there to win the tournament. Quote
husker11 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Im going if we get one in St. Louis or Milwaukee. Quote
Tallbaby21 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 I think I'll try and go unless it's Spokane or Buffalo. Might as well put games on the moon. Quote
Cookie Belcher Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 As of tonight's update, we are now in 77 of the 94 bracket projections. Â We have an average seed of 11.0. Â Of the 17 brackets where we aren't in, 13 of them haven't been updated since our game yesterday. Quote

tjp21 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Not that I agree, but I've seen some guys who have left us out really harp on the bad losses and the fact that we haven't had to play Wisconsin and Mich St twice in conference play. Not saying I agree, but I've seen that mentioned by a few guys. Cookie Belcher Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 If we beat Ohio State on Friday I think we are a 10 seed at worst. Quote

Not saying I agree, but I've seen that mentioned by a few guys. Those guys need their heads checked. It's compete BS. We have zero control over the B1G schedule and we beat both MSU and Wisconsin so only playing them once should have no bearing. It's fine if they want to look at our composite SOS. Quote
Cookie Belcher Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Only playing them once is actually a detriment considering we are 2-0 against them. Getting Michigan State at home and going to Madison would be two more shots at big time wins. Quote
hskr4life Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 My favorite bracket 1. Wichita State vs 16. Play In 8. Kansas State vs. 9. Nebraska Kill row birds with one stone. I want a shot at both of em Quote
