So, new rule changes: Good or bad?

After almost a whole season now, what's the verdict.  We've had a chance for the officiating crews to get used to the new rules.  So, what's everyone think?  Is it better this way?

I haven't noticed much difference after the first few weeks, honestly.

 

Certainly a whole lot less complaining.

Depends on the referee.  Isn't that kind of sad.  There are so many good referee's out there, but unfortanetly, also some pretty bad apples.  My issue is that the bad seeds can take over a game and control the outcomes just by how they interpret the rules.  I am not really complaining, it is just the nature of the beast.  The more interpretation calls that exist, the worse it becomes...just saying!

Well we now know that it is impossible to be the off ball defender and get a charge.

Once that is known by the players it will be better.

I've been harping on that all year... why does NU still try for the charge on the baseline?!? It is literally never called any more... and more often that not, rightfully so. NU needs to play solid D & block a shot rather than set up for a charge (it cost NU vs. Mythagain @PBA).
