I believe there will be a show tonight at 7, although Coach may be out recruiting with the bye week. I don't think I'll be near a computer to take notes, so if someone else wants to jump in, that'd be great.

Good God!  Who is that loser Jason that always calls in to the show and tries to outcoach Coach Miles every week!  That guy got put in his place.  Seriously, don't call a coaches show and try to show you know more than a coach.  And you can always count on Les every show to call up and ask about Biggs defensive struggles.

Getting a lot of calls from fans tonight.  I get what Tim is saying about the offensive rebound, Doc did the same thing probably more to get back on D, but if you struggle to score, which it seems like we have since Danny Nee, you would think you would try to crash the glass to get some cheap points.

Also, Tim was talking about Tai, and then started talking about the officials, and said something to the effect of if we got some calls we could have had 7 more points and we lost by 6.

Jeeps, love listening to Coach.

Sounds like Nate has been playing well in practice, just hasn't gotten it done in games.   Also, coach Smith in his segment, confirmed what someone else said in another thread about Fuller....he's been playing really well since coming back from an extended Christmas break.

He also said they both struggle athletically to keep up with the elite level of athletes at this level.  This is going to be the difficult line Miles will have to walk with this team.  Can he take a bunch of less athletic, but skilled and smart players and turn them into a regular NCAA tourney team in the B1G?  Fortunately, I think Miles gets it and knows he's not at CSU anymore.  He needs both skilled players and skilled athletes.  If he has a few of those, then he can mix in a few guys like Fuller and Hawkins who may be a bit limited athletically, but have the smarts and skills to still make the team better.

Miles made one off-the-cuff statement about how last year he didn't have to worry about players taking "bad shots" because Doc had drilled that into those guys before he ever got here.  I didn't like Doc's super restrictive style, but there is a balance.  There is no doubt that Miles has a few guys who love to take a few hero shots almost every game, and those lost possessions add up.  Something Miles says he is working on with the players in getting them to understand the discipline necessary to play at this level.
