Thoughts on Saturday Games

Caught some early games before watching some grandson and NFL. Feel free to add additional thoughts as the day progresses.

1. Did we ever have a legit shot at Buddy Hield? He was impressive against the Cyclones. Maybe he was motivated by seeing Doc?

2. UMass made a nice comeback against the Bonnies and looks like an NCAA lock at this point. And the UMass coach definitely beats Dooley of Florida Gulf Coast in the coaches greased hair sweepstakes. And the Minuteman mascot looks like a zombie on Prozac.

3. Penn St. appears to also have a knack in not being able to close games out. It is really looking like we'll battle Northwestern for the cellar unless the boys show up tomorrow ready to play.

4. How has KU managed to lose as many games as they have already this year???

I concur about KSU losing whenever possible... Certainly helps KU that they are well-coached & a more athletic ball team.

It's possible, too, that Indiana just isn't very good this year jimmy.

What 49r said... I do still think we have a chance at 8 to 10... Also have a chance at 12. I don't think the bottom 4 to 6 teams are wayyy better than us
