I had a dream...

...last night about Nebraska Basketball.  A nightmare, really.  Which is reasonably apropos for Halloween I suppose.

 

Namely, this was a dream about Nebraska introducing their new Men's head coach to the public.  A pretty faceless and nameless dude (who bore a bit of a resemblance to a Jim Groce/Bo Pelini type character).  Someone kind of gruff looking with a bland personality.

 

No reason for why they had to hire a new coach...did Miles leave for a different job?  Was he fired?  Nobody knew, it was a complete mystery.  And I remember just feeling cold and bitter...betrayed.  We weren't going to have our awesome coach any more and instead some doofus that it looked like everyone was going to hate.

 

Worst of all, I remember that during the press conference the new coach mentioned that they weren't going to run the motion any more.  They were planning on running the "Kansas offense".  That's the part where I thought to myself "OH NO!  IT'S DOC - MARK 2!!"  Then I woke up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does anyone else dream about Nebrasketball?  Or am I the only freak here that does that?

Yeah, but we're predisposed to want to believe.  Recruits are predisposed to being skeptical.  We need to get over the hump with an Elbert Robinson.  And I think we will.
