HHC GameDay Shirts

We've talked about having a HHC shirt off and on for years and with the new arena coming up, now seems like a great time to make this happen.

 

Essentially our two biggest requirements are

 

1. The shirt needs to be red so you can wear it to a game

2. It needs to not violate any trademarks (You can't use the words "Huskers", "Cornhuskers" or have the Big N)

 

in addition to mentioning the HHC

 

My initial thoughts would be a front that has either (in white)

 

• Nebrasketball
• #Nebrasketball
• Nebraska Basketball

The back would include "huskerhoopscentral.com

We'd probably need some other Slogan/graphic for the back. (maybe we'll develop a tagline for the HHC here!)

It would also be cool to incorporate the acronym "HHC" somewhere (maybe "HHC Est. 2005"?) 

Unless there was a compelling reason, this would also be all in white. (additional colors costs more)

 

I'm planning on a higher quality t-shirt (like an American Apparel) or something similar.

I'll also plan on making these available via online purchase.

 

After our initial conversationwe'll put stuff to a vote if necessary and then get a rough head count on people interested as that will also dictate the price. 

 

Please give your input on this.

Also keep in mind this is something that we would want the majority of our members to be proud to wear....in other words please keep your suggestions appropriate.

A couple years ago, Big Red Network came up with a tee-shirt that had a simple design that I really liked:

 

 

I think if you could incorporate the #Nebrasketball tag, the state outline, and HHC, it would be a pretty clean look for a shirt.  It would also make sense to use the state outline, since, you know, the Huskers are the only game in the state...

That's right!  I forgot about the state outline.  I agree that's a must have for the front as well.

How about a white state outline design (like the one on the pic above) only broken up by curvey basketball lines. The basketball lines would just be the red t-shirt color in the background. This would be on the front assuming you could get the state outline to look right incorporating a basketball design and then #Nebrasketball could be underneath it. On the back the HHC stuff could be incorporated. I think that basketball/solid white state of NE has potential if it looks right.

Yes. Something like that. What I was originally thinking was a solid white state of Nebraska just like the girls shirt in the previous post with the basketball rings just being the red shirt behind the state. But I don't know how this would look.

I like #1 out of those three. I don't think it's too hard to figure out that they are basketball rings. It kinda makes a cool design. And if it says Nebrasketball on the shirt everyone knows its a basketball!

I think one could make it work.

 

If you had two lines, #NEBRASKETBALL on top, then huskerhoopscentral.com beneath, it could square things up some.

What do you mean by "Nebraska's State Team"?

 

 

The Huskers are THE team for the state of Nebraska (in the vein of "way better than Kansas"  )... and, I like both images you have shown on the front with a slight preference for the more classic look of "Nebraska Basketball."
