UNL WBB Goes Head to Head with Football Nat'l Championship Game? ????

Does anyone have an explanation for why these contests will be played simultaneously?  I mean game time for the football championship was known well in advance of setting the basketball schedule.  I expect the PBA tomorrow evening to be rather a lonely place.  Maybe the ticket takers and concession workers will out number the fans - speaking of whom - they will have to miss the FB game in order to do their jobs.  I really don't get it and will be watching BB replay at midnight.

yes, me too.  Tho I amazed that these two things happen at the same time, I will be at the PBA and then up way past my bed time to watch recorded FB.  I just hope that no FB updates are reported at the BB game

I'll be there.  I don't really care about OSU and ND.  The new CFB playoffs seems like it just goes on too long; CFB should be over on New Years Day.  Oh well, GBR beat Wiscy!
