UNL WBB Goes Head to Head with Football Nat'l Championship Game? ????

Does anyone have an explanation for why these contests will be played simultaneously?  I mean game time for the football championship was known well in advance of setting the basketball schedule.  I expect the PBA tomorrow evening to be rather a lonely place.  Maybe the ticket takers and concession workers will out number the fans - speaking of whom - they will have to miss the FB game in order to do their jobs.  I really don't get it and will be watching BB replay at midnight.
