All About the Corn Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 Too bad officials are too few in numbers because some of these officials should get suspensions for their horrible game management. Quote
Tom Jones Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 (edited) is one game enough? I don't think so. I think there should be a THREE game suspension for a second offense Edited May 3, 2024 by Tom Jones thought of something else Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 Then the ref's need to keep thier hands off players as well. Quote

Tom Jones Posted May 4, 2024 Report Posted May 4, 2024 but the rule pertains to ... "anyone who disrespectfully contacts an official or makes a threat of physical intimidation or harm to include pushing, shoving, spitting, or attempting to make physical contact with an official." Yes, I have shaken my head a few times when noticing that an official put hands on a player. But I have never seen it as an act of threat or intimidation or disrespect. 12dozen and redsteve 2 Quote
caveman Posted May 4, 2024 Report Posted May 4, 2024 Pretty sure it's hard to break up fights without hands on. No, I've watched literally thousands of games and I cannot say I've seen a single instance where the officials have put hands on in any kind of intimidating manor. I have, however seen hundreds of examples where they should have stepped in earlier. I've also seen hundreds of examples where the reverse is true, or when players have gotten in their faces and unloaded the full 4 letter word dictionary and haven't so much as drawn a T. No it's time the NCAA steps in and gives the officiating some fire power to manage games 12dozen, redsteve and Cazzie22 1 2 Quote
