Huskerpapa Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Well done article. Describes the work she is putting in. In particular, look at the time put into her game and note her scholastic endeavor. Many fans forget that our players balance a rigorous academic schedule with the commitment to a complex and time consuming athletic schedule. Leaves precious little time for a social life. Also sorta funny as to who's film they watch. Worth the read. https://journalstar.com/eedition/page-b1/page_5d908fcd-a19a-58b4-a830-2a0b6235a01b.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=email&utm_campaign=user-share Red Don, Montana_85 F and Cazzie22 1 2 Quote

HUD Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Even though she is a bit vertically challenged she is proof that through desire, hard work and confidence you can be a contributor. Look at Laney Choboy in VB. Quote

She was but I'm just saying that even though you are short, through hard work and dedication you can make a difference. Look at the 5-4 point guard for Wisc. She gave us fits. That's why I think Kennadi Williams also at 5-4 will be able to help us next year. They all carry some extra motivation. whoopdeedoo and Red Don 2 Quote

Tom Jones Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 This is from the UNL Game Day/Game Notes for today's game. Really interesting to see season stats for Hake. "Callin Hake is proving herself as one of the Big Ten’s most improved players from a year ago. The 5-8 sophomore from Victoria, Minn., already owns more points (+10), assists (+27), free throws made (+18), rebounds (+20), steals (+7) and blocks (+1) than all of last season in 18 fewer minutes. She is also shooting 45.8 percent (27-59) from three-point range while averaging 6.9 points per game compared to 4.3 points per game last season." AuroranHusker, HUD and Red Don 1 2 Quote
