End of game:

Burt

Grace

Lloyd

Diop

Jacobsen

Maybe should have been, but wasn't meant to be, evidently. Mast & Tominaga were both subbed out at around 1 min. left. That's the only 2 starters who didn't finish it up.

Interesting tidbit is Tominaga is the only NU player to not record an assist today. He also didn't miss a shot. I'll definitely take that, just thought both were a fascinating part of today's action. By shooting 5-5 from the field, and 3-3 from 3, Keisei improved his overall shooting to above 50% and his 3-ball shooting to 40% while his FT shooting is 13-14 since starting the season by clanking his 1st 3 FTs. He's clearly Nebraska's #1 threat, and he'll receive a lot of attention this season. GBR

Keisei made three or four passes that should have resulted in FG/assists.  So the lack of assists were not due to lack of effort.  In addition, I really thought that the team really didn't look Tominaga's way often enough.  That may just be my imagination though.

I wasn't saying Keisei doesn't pass, it's more that it's an anomaly for the team to "not have an assist". I found it remarkable compared to years past for Hoiberg & Co.

They seem to move the ball well and work together. It should pay off, since it's not that hero-ball look... hopefully they continue to gel and incorporate all the players into their offensive flow & try a few sets for K.T., R.M., or B.W. when appropriate.

Nope. Over the last 2 games I've noticed there have been more than a couple times Tominaga was open and they didn't pass him the ball and reversed it the other way. Williams had an egregious one today. But I've seen a few others do it too. Hopefully just a coincidence and nothing more.
