Part of our problem is at times we do not take time to run some offense. We tend to take a quick three when maybe with a little bit of work we get a great look in the paint. We are not the only team to have our bigs out on the ball screen. There is a fine line when defending and we tend to go over it quite a bit. Will need to step it up on Sunday if Sam is a no go.

Insightful observations.  Game Stats seem to show a much closer game than I was expecting they would.  We out-rebounded them, more 2nd chance points, and more points-in-the-paint (than for a team that is known for its inside game).  Biggest differences are the shooting make %'s.  We were just playing a much more experienced team that has played together longer.  We'll get better.

Any updates on Sam's injury?  Along those lines, will Trinity Brady ever see the floor again?

I have't heard anything about Sam.  As for our two long time injured players they could possibly be put on medical type of hardship scholarship for their senior year.

Game Page for the upcoming Iowa Redux says that Sam Haiby left the game with an 'Arm Injury' (rather than a shoulder injury, which I think would be more severe).

From watching her after the injury,   I would be extremely surprised if Sam plays.
