Worst sportscast ever- O.T.

The stout fellow who does some of the sports on Channel 8 in Lincoln gave me five minutes of the most prolonged laughter I have had this year when all of the video he had prepared did not work on the 6p.m. broadcast and he was left twisting in the wind to ad lib for the entire segment. Not only did he say the U.S. women had already won the gold medal in volleyball (which they haven't) but he managed to mispronounce Lauren Stivrins' name when she announced she would return to NU.. It was a classic meltdown worthy of Les Nessman as he groped for something to say other than "Are we done yet?" or "It's live t.v. folks".  I fully expected him to shout out "Boom goes the dynamite" any minute.  I'm sure he is busy toweling off the flop sweat now. Hopefully they will replay this classic tonight. He has now become Lincoln's favorite sportscaster.
