He doesn't have to move. Just can't lean into a pitch

Waldron should have thrown 10 less pitches last inning if the ump calls strike 3 to OSU in nearly the same spot as Altavilla's strike 3.

I don't understand Erstad and Silva at times.  Why take Mike out there?  The count should be 0 - 2 as he threw 2 pitches in the exact same spot.  He gave up a solid single and bloop single.

OSU doing a much much much better job of putting pressure on our pitching and defense. We’re letting Smith coast. Something needs to change. Shouldn’t get skunked this late in the tournament.

We've done a good job at getting baserunners each inning. But yeah, they've done a much better job getting them on early. Hopefully we can get this starter off the mound soon and get those bats going.

Why can we not get competent ump behind the plate.  How can that last pitch to Gomes be a strike when Waldron throws a pitch in a better spot and that one's called a ball.
