That is true for last year but overall, if you look at the top 10 highest attended spring games ever, NU comes in at #8 with Ohio State taking the top 3 spots followed by Georgia at #4 and then Alabama #5 - #7.  NU is 8th followed by Alabama and Auburn.

People can bash on the fanbase all they want...no matter how great they could be it was not going to turn Miles into some great X’s and O’s coach.

With stats like these, you'd have to factor in capacity restraints. But I suppose that's not the point.

Everyone ranked ahead of Nebraska on that list has a bigger stadium, and free admission.

 

Edit:. Maybe we should have 2 spring games so our attendance can be 140k

It seems to me this best fan thing is mostly based on being a welcoming bunch when visitors come.  I think we are great at that aspect.
