There is another video out today where it shows Leigha getting beat off the dribble and with her length she blocks the shot.

She didn't get beat off the dribble - that's help defense.

i think the initial player guarding the person on the dribble wasn't Leigha.  Leigha came from another position to block the shot.

Hey Husker Nation,

While scanning for Miss Brown, I just came across this.  Let’s get every Husker Big Red Fans to follow the link and vote for Leigha.  I’m betting we can get her this win by 2-3k votes.  You can vote once a day til 3-1-18.  Let’s show her what being a Husker is all about!!!

Of note:

As of 1-9-18  DeKalb's  Leigha Brown is a strong candidate for the Indiana state's Miss Basketball...... 26ppg,   11.6rpg,  5.2apg

Her aggressive style of play will probably give her a head start when she arrives for NU basketball...but...it will be a huge

jump in the competition level.

But she's certainly impressive so far :D

From the article....

Of the 15 reported 30-plus point games on the girls side this season in the area, Brown had nine of those games. Brown was also a member of The News-Sentinel’s preseason Fabulous Five

and was First Team All-Northeast 8.

The 2018 Indiana Miss Basketball will be announced from within the group of All-Stars on April 29. The Junior-Senior exhibition game is set for June 6 at a site to be announced. The first game against Kentucky will be June 8 in Kentucky at a site to be announced. The final game against Kentucky will be June 9 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
