Yes .....Havers, Shepard, Washington, Blackburn....and a chair......holding up a wall? Ostrander is still playing volleyball I think. Great to see Shepard is able to be on her feet and working the knee. Go girls !!

I fully agree that no one on the outside knows the entire truth at this point...if it ever really comes out...probably not. Certainly no one on this web site has inside information. And for the record I never said Mr White is wrong.....rather his statements thus far, are hard to understand.....compared to all that we have been told about what has happened to the program. And also for the record, nowhere have I said I believe either side is right...or wrong. Speculation/perceptions....of course....utimately without some level of speculation this site probably wouldn't exist, and none of us would be on here anyway. We talk all the time about our players and how they'll preform next year...new recruits, etc...it's mostly speculation/perceptions as we see it. ...and I'm assuming we all have opinions....that too is what makes this site work.

Without wearing out the subject to much..... Rejoin...I read that simply to mean.... this fall. But anyway..... for Bob White to still ignore the reality of what's going on.....that's kind of mind boggling He has to be blind.....and think my girl's starting so no matter what happens, he dosen't want to rock the (sinking) boat. And for Chatrice to seemingly not be aware of anything???? Don't think the coach can/will survive the onslaught. There's just too many on the team threating to sue, with accusations, etc. Wouldn't new recruits pass on joining the team in the next few years. If my daughter could go there...I'd have to say..... not there.....not now. OK, I'm already in a bit of a foul mood with the whole Rashon Burno news. So, I'm trying to be restrained here, but ... Ignore what reality? Your reality? He has first-hand experience with this situation; you have, at best, third-hand information. What makes you think your perceptions based on third-hand information have more validity than the perceptions of the father of one of the players on the team? I'll have to ask you the same question.... What makes you think your perceptions based on third-hand information have more validity than ...mine ? You seem to think that about half the team leaving and suing the school because of the coaching staff.....somehow has no validity.......since Bob White says there's no problem. That's defies logic in my book. And yes, the Bruno thing

I know we've talked about her before, but now she's just won the tourney for the U.S. Collegiate National Team team. And did it in style. She'll have to be a great help on BBall defense....just has tons if big time athletics experience....no fear...knows how to produce. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=210176599

She's getting Serbian citizenship? Will she have "dual" US/Serbian citizenship?...or just Serbian ? -
No...... Yori's not suggesting a redshirt...not now anyway....according to most info available, Jess should be ready by the start of the regular season. But it's not certain it seems just how "ready" she'll be by then. She will have been off the court for months, so it will take some time to get in playing shape...regardless of the knee situation.

LJS Article on Kyndal Clark transfer. Tells her story on move to NU http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/women-s-basketball-clark-ready-for-one-shot-with-huskers/article_274d8ac2-cbec-507c-90f9-8859015543be.html She's from Webb City, Mo ...can you say Grant Wistrom ? -
Prospect Nation : Micole Cayton (Stockton, Calif.), St. Marys 2016If there was an award for most improved player on the west coast in the past year, Cayton would definitely be on the ballot. She infused tempo and energy into her team. This St. Marys squad already plays the game fast and furious but with Cayton in charge the pace accelerates as her quickness with the ball was unmatched here. She has become a really accurate catch and shoot threat from behind the arc. Shes a player that is going to push the issue and take some tough shots now and again but her ability to impact the game is well beyond what we saw from her nine months ago when her sophomore year was winding down.

Not an unusual story for sure...... The stats look like she wasn't getting much playing time.......so why sit the bench collecting splinters. Players that have made it to the college level want to play, not be a spectator.

I was wondering the exact same thing. And I am A-OK with that. I was about to say the same thing too....but also....I hope so !!!

Not so great video...but .....Mi'Cole runs with a pretty good crowd in Calif. http://usatodayhss.com/2015/neumann-goretti-no-1-st-marys-no-2-in-super-25-girls-basketball-rankings Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia) held onto its top spot in the latest Super 25 girls basketball rankings, with only one set of rankings to go. No. 2 St. Mary’s (Stockton, Calif.) also retained its spot after it defeated then-No. 10 Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 76-69 in the state Open Division Championship. Junior guard Mi’Cole Cayton led the Rams with 21 points in the win.

I've lost track......how many is planned for new commits this (2016) year? We'll lose 4 Sr's after this year, and 2 the next. Think Connie will try to replace the numbers taking four newbies?
-
I saw Kat Tutor was part of series of tweets congratulating MiCole on her commit to NU (they are on same team)

From this article that expalins the whole thing: http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=210145211 Ford replaces Dayna Finch on the Husker coaching staff for 2015-16. Finch, who will remain with the Nebraska staff as Director of Operations, approached Yori about moving into the operations role. Finch, who gave birth in April to her third child in three years, replaces Jan Bethea, who left the program for personal reasons in early June. Bethea spent five seasons as Nebraska's Director of Operations (2011-15).

What will be her area of coaching......defense, offense ...anyone know???

Can kind of quess some others.)

An article with picture of Cayton (scored 21 pts), and some "big" names in the game article. http://www.latimes.com/sports/highschool/varsity-times/la-girls-basketball-mater-dei-loses-open-division-state-final-20150328-story.html

Exciting stuff ! Seems like forever since the new freshmen committed. Now they'll get to experience some real flavor of the college game. And then the overseas trip...very fun stuff. It will be a tight schedule for Shepard to get fully ready for the regualr season. Hope she's able to recover by then...recover and not have any knee problems. Hope so for her sake. (I had two boys that had knee surgerys (not as bad injury as Shepard)...and both ...thank God...recovered well, and haven't had issues since.) Also hope the ankle/foot issues don't occur this year....had to have been some problem last year.....shoes...too much fatigue...whatever it was. Let the season begin

Agree HUD... Our overall team height will be improved next year, much deeper. Will have several near the basket in the 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 & 5 range. More in numbers anyway. We'll still see a couple under 6 footers on most teams, but the numbers continue to dwindle. The quickness/speed of smaller girls is still valuable. Real nice mix of players for next year. As said, we look to be much, much deeper. ....yea !!! -
Yes, it will probably most benefit the UConns of this world.... that have talented enough players to be individual playmakers. Pass a couple of times and ...score !
-
The changes..... will change the college game quite a bit probably, and agree, it may speed up the game like the article said.....all for that. Apparently they're trying to make for less structured (time consuming) play calling...that will change a lot of teams approach to the offense. As said the point overall, apparently is it will make college more similar to the pro/international game. Sounds like it's close to a done deal. No more 3 on 3 half court play????
