That's a good one ! Dad ...a hallucinating spin BS story to cover his own ego. He has no experience coaching at a major institution....no way he was getting a job at NU, or Yori promising something like that. He could have dreamed he'd get a job. Yori isn't that dumb...she's too experienced....and doesn't promise anyone anything.....especially a dad.....with a new freshmen no less, that hasn't proved she can compete at any position. And I didn't see major colleges beating down dads door to hire him, after the Page girls left. And...he's proven he can't run a HS team.

When do you suppose dad will figure out he has totally screwed up everything........his daughters bball future? (the girls will never forget it)....his HS team ? Do you suppose mom has seen the light? Or will it be someone elses fault ? Don't feel a bit sorry for dad......but yes, just about everyone else......really unfortnate for a long list of people.

If he had let them go to college and wasn't a "helicopter dad" they probably would be fine.....sorry but it's to late for a mature way to lead your (his) kids. He may well have screwed up their bball future.... probably.

Do you suppose Ms Blackburn could join the NU team this week for a little B1G experience? Bet she will add to the mix next year...we'll need some bodies around the paint to mix it up.

You would think this would raise the eye brows of the school administration......his own kid quits Nebraska (dad told her to quit ?) Then most of his HS players quits his team. Any connection to dad at all ? Dads light seems to be a little dim. Dad seems to have let this whole thing go to his head, and he can't figure out.... where is reality?. Suppose Kaylee and Lanie see anything unusual? Karma?

In some ways, sometimes I think her just throwing up 3s isn't using all of her abilities...and importance to the team....to drive to the basket, shoot or pass off to a trailing team mate, or just make asists to get the offense going, rebounds, and she can really push the ball up court. It's kind of looked like maybe Connie is trying to get T to do some of Rachels work, mixed in with what T can already do efficently. T can be really disruptive to defenses. It'll be real tough from here on out with Rachel gone. Just have to suck it up as they say...and grow up as a team, as quick as we can. The learning curve really is having to hit full speed ahead..... for the young ones. This year has become even more "interesting" than one might have thought last Sept.

Chandler Smith reminds me of Moore so far. But maybe Nat will change my mind. Love how Smith playes the game......just needs to become a scorer

Speaking of getting people back....any word on Rachel ? She can make the difference in what could have been a probable win. Glad this ones at home. Come on girls... ..it time for a solid game that I know we're capable of playing.

Makes sense Bugs. Havers will probably help us score...plus will definately help the defense inside. She could have some help from Kalenta & Washington, and possibly freshman Blackburn (sp) Hopefully Havers can add another 20 lbs of muscle...and a nasty side to go with it. How Shepard recovers, and can get up to game speed, will be huge. She will add a ton to the offense, (and defense) and can make us a different team. I just don't see her getting pushed around or intimidated. Scorers (sp) mentality. Losing the Page girls hasn't helped us....one of them could have been ready to play next year...but that's water under the bridge. We need to fill those shoes....and recruit aggressively to do so. I have to say we don't seem to get after recruiting as hard as some. Iowa already has commitments from 4 for 2016...all 4*s....and yes Row...I have come to hate the hawks. Lots more thoughts...but it can be thrashed later.

I have the feeling that a wily old veteran like Logic would eat Cincore up and spit her out. What have you seen that makes you think that Jasmine could frustrate Logic? I just checked, Logic has 26 fouls in 12 conference games. Doolittle is the one that fouls a lot. If we could get her on the bench, then Em could operate underneath a lot better. As I recall she did (maybe almost foul out) the last game....she was efective last time....get her out and it will help. Rachel T has to play....hope....hope...hope

Maybe it's just me...but I thought our poor shooting was a ...big...difference in the game. We had lots of decent looks but few points. I haven't seen stats ...did we even shoot 30% ? And yes......they out muscled us about 25 lbs per player...particularly inside....they filled the lane on defense, and let us hang ourselves out to dry shooting from the outside. Sorry, I've worn out the shooting thing.....it was driving me nutso during the game

Her shooting percentage is pretty low so far this year....not sure if it's a temporary thing..or not ? Handles the ball well, and sees the court well, but has got to make some shots.

If she just missed a couple of games....she isn't going to miss much in terms of being ready to play. If physically ready, she could step right in, if she knows the scouting package of a given team. But longer than missing a couple of games...... she might need some practice time too....increases.

Do we have to keep recruiting kids? There's got to be some 30 yr olds out there that have become adults.

So what's the story on her leaving NU ?

Why would Kalenta leave? She only has one year left. She should be an important contributor next year. No guarantee that Shephard will be ready at the start of next season and we don't know how Washington has developed as a redshirt. Kalenta was a 40% three shooter in JC, and she's shooting 3s higher than 50% now, but rides the bench ? The young kids stayed right in the middle of the fight tonight...and it looked like they were up for it...very competitive kids. Bids well for them later on.

One has to wonder what game the refs see that we don't. Fouls get called and we win the game. We got beat up litteraly...

They're a little like us in that they do use their bench....maybe a bit more than we do so far. One thing I've noticed is they foul quite a bit....the whole team. This could be a game that gets won by the free throws. And some fouling out...like a game or two ago. Maybe they will get into foul trouble ? We'll have to keep our composer, and bring our A game. I like our chances.
