We are still playing Creighton, but not via Gavitt Games. And, yes, that November 17th game at 'Nova was part of last season's Gavitt Games. yup...I realize we are still playing Creighton. Probably until the end of time. I don't think we will ever play them as part of the Gavitt Games...since they are already on the schedule.

Speaking of Creighton...just mentioning it here as it's probably not worth its own topic. I see we aren't playing in the Gavitt Tip-Off Games this year. Wasn't that the Nova game last year?

Butler should circle the wagons around any good post players or recruits they might have, because Miles has been unable to land a big man in his four years in Lincoln. I don't know...this guy sounds more like a Creighton fan than a Husker Follower.

Interesting....We have seen how the Big 12 has dealt with Texas. Looking at Jim Delaney and how he manages the Big 10...how do you think he would manage a Big 10 with Texas given that amount of money up there in the chart. Would he have better control over them than the Big 12?

Wouldn't you have the same problem with KU and K-State? I've seen that mentioned elsewhere so that's why I'm asking.

I know it's 100% wishful dreaming on my part...but someone in the response part of the article brought up the Big 12 being pretty much dead with no network once this happens. They make the comment that if KU was to join the Big 10 it would cause a domino effect leading to the end of the Big 12. I know there's something on the education side of the Big 10 that KU doesn't have which would have an impact in them joining, but there's still a part of me that hopes that the revival of the NU/KU games could lead to this happening. I can't say rivalry as we would have to beat them more than once out of every 50 games. The Big 10 has some great history, but can you imagine how great it would be if KU joined?

I was always kind of shocked that with the amount of Big 12 advertising they did that they didn't try to open up at least one location in all the Big 12 markets.

So, are you hoping to set an all-time board record for most up arrows for a single post? If so, I'm in. lol..I don't care how bad it gets. I'm looking at a win every year against them. Its a win for us until the final score says otherwise.

Also McDermott has done a great job of recruiting 13 prospects that fit their system perfectly. Final four team IMO Soooo...let's just get this out of the way. Husker losing streak against Creighton will continue for the foreseeable feature.

This is going to be mostly an exercise in futility as the matrix of players we want/players interested in us isn't guarantee to actually landing a player. Lol...thanks for an honest answer at least.

Seeing a lot of Transfers, how soon before we start to see where all these guys are transferring to? Do we have a shot at any of them? Who would we want? Who would be probably not want? Guess that last question might be a little iffy if any of them or their connections have any connection to the board, but still asking. I honestly don't pay a lot of attention to anything out side of our team and who we are playing (part of the reason I never fill out a bracket).

Borchardt, who joined the team in October in an open tryout will remain at Nebraska and concentrate on school, while Trueblood has not decided if he will remain at Nebraska to continue his studies or transfer after the semester.

Don't ask me why, but I was thinking about these questions this morning and I'm sure a good number of you know the answer better than I do. 1. Does the LJS cover Creighton as much as the Omaha paper does us? and 2. Does the LJS even send anyone to cover the Creighton games? I just don't see a lot of positive from the Omaha reporters about NU Hoops. I was thinking do I see much of anything about their program in the LJS?

haha...it's probably the one thing about Coach Miles and a good number of husker athletes that drives my dad bonkers. The number of times they use the phrase "you know". Coach's post game should would be a few minutes shorter if he stopped saying "you know" so much. Not that we want the show shorter.

Not to sound untrusting...but how many coaches are actually going to do that?

First game on BTN..2nd game on ESPN2...3rd game on BTN. Why the network bouncing around? Why was BTN rerunning the earlier games yesterday?

my memory isn't the greatest...but in the old big 8 days...wasn't the first round played at the higher seeds home court and then the winner of those games went to KC?
