Good list. I'd also be interested in a list of NBA players who graduated from a Nebraska H.S. you might try google...that's how I found this list..... lol..or try the same site this list was on. I just found it...although...I'm going to let you find it too...just in case there's something else you'd like to find out there. nah....not going to take you directly to the page...but here's the page where you get to the page you want: http://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/

if you all want to know and this is just those born in Nebraska not played at Nebraska http://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/birthplaces.cgi?country=US&state=NE

I predict that the Husker Men's team will do a whole lot better next year. I'm not going to predict beating Creighton, but I am thinking that we will look a lot better. I am predicting for the football team...they will do great...but I'm also predicting that as soon as the first loss by the team happens...the "He's not Bob and Tom...and needs to be fired" people will be crawling out of the woodwork. I'm predicting a warmer than usual summer with maybe a 5% increase in rainfall from last year. I'm also predicting that all the predictions above will be totally wrong. (just to cover my butt)

Yeah, I should have know better than to ever repeat anything my dumb A$$ friends say. Although they are good guys, they tend to be the negative nancy's of our beer(busch light drinkers, yuck) drinking, sports talking group. When they talk about firing Riley after his first big loss then you'll know for sure. yeah I've been thinking about that a lot. Right after Riley's first loss the "TO and BD had fantastic records and won national championships...we better fire this guy because it's a sinking ship" people will be coming out of the woodwork...or coming back in some cases.

Wonder if you get put on the waiting list if you are kept on the waiting list until you get the seats. So...since we were on last years list and didn't get moved if we would have to re request this year or if we will be on the list automatically.
-
lol..if my dad and I can get our 100 level seats, you can get our current 200 level seats...as long as you don't mind having the security bars blocking part of your view.
-
just hope that two people sitting next to each other this season in the 100 level don't renew, so my dad and I can move from our rail view seats to the 100 level. We couldn't do it this season, but hopefully next.

I hate to say it but I give up.....

Stuff happens. Bad hand was dealt to the team this year. There's a lot worse that can happen...um what's going on with Petteway's family comes to mind. That being said...I hope that there's a couple more fans like you...so maybe my dad and I can make the move to the lower section next year. Other than that I have not and will not give up on this team. -
While I'm not ready for this season to get over with...after reading this article about Andrew White, I'm really excited about next year already! NU men: White making strides, impressing on NU scout team

Speaking of Creighton...the loss stung bad enough....not sure how much more their wonderful record of being last in their conference is going to cause that loss to sting.

Off the wall question since I was at the game and didn't watch it on TV. I had a friend post of facebook that when the Football coach was being interviewed they spent almost 15 minutes doing the interview and didn't talk about the actual game being played at the time. I'm guessing she was exaggerating...but what was the deal? They showed him on the screen and it got a bit of a reaction (guessing this is as close to him appearing at the basketball games as we are going to get). -

There were several times where the crowd was standing for a game against Rutgers with relatively few students. It was a pleasant surprise. I'll have to keep track more in my mind put perhaps 8 pm crowds will tend to be better than 6 pm. We had 11k+ show up which was great with the weather and just thinking about where we were two years ago. no only the weather but you also had Jerry Seinfeld at the Lied. I'm guessing some of the Lied crowd are husker fans. -
So what was the Miles Crean spat about?
Nighthawk replied to hal9000's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
He had been shot just a little bit and when his story of a masked intruder wearing a cowboy hat fell apart he had to admit he shot himself in the shoulder on accident. That's the best excuse he could come up with? Seriously? I didn't remember that part of the story, but I'm sure you're right about that. In which case, he should have been kicked off the team/out of school for being such an incompetent liar. Forget the water pistols. The whole student section should have shown up dressed as the Lone Ranger. Mask and cowboy hat -- what a dunce. The article about the incident: Stipanovich and the Lone Ranger -

That would be cool. lol...I miss the good old "Sit down Norm!" Chant....no disrespect to our Norm. And due to having to be good sports now we also can't do the old "Three Blind Mice" chant to the officials. If memory serves they did this a number of years ago...back when Iba was coaching...and the officials T'd us for it. -

I had to look at Coach Mile's tweet after the half. Almost all the responses to the tweet seem to be from Indiana fans. They kind of crack me up. -

Anyone have any clue what the coaches were getting into each others faces for? -

Guess my only comment is we see how the loss of a big has impacted things. I'd hate to see what would happen if we lost Shields or Petteway. -

Interesting place to find comments about this game. Skip to end of article : http://m.journalstar.com/news/walton-democrats-will-caucus-again-in/article_b2f203df-4fc8-58cc-a33d-ae61f76bfc15.html?mobile_touch=true -
I do have to say I got a chuckle out of the students booing the long lines of people leaving early. I even saw some finger pointing (and the fans leaving pointing back).

Wow...they got a Coach Mike Riley on Thursday too?!? That's just a bit creepy.
