ok...well the KU/NU series was announced March 1st. that's why I was wondering...lol...and I don't consider them a patsies..Who else do we know...and when exactly are we playing them? I just tried googling the 2017-2018 schedule and zip. (Creighton and KU aside). Looking at the 2017-2018 board here...the only games so far are a couple of tournaments (which do require more advanced scheduling) and Creighton and KU. So I'm just trying to figure who we have scheduled so far out.

Really? I didn't realize that. Given that football games are starting to be schedules for 2023 and beyond and the schedules are pretty much set for the next few years. Husker Basketball...we don't know the schedule for any given year until until sometime after the prior season is over with.

There have been officials that I wouldn't mind tossing a rotten egg at once in a blue moon...but that's about as far as I've ever gone or will ever go.

I did read somewhere that some top coaches were interested in the Job, but that Amy Williams was hired before they could even apply. They seemed to be kind of shocked in the quick turn around. Not a clue what the rest of the story is.

All I can say is...no disrespect to any Big 10 school, but I'm rooting for Kansas to go the distance.

Class Act all the way. Sad to see him leave and wish him the best of luck. If you are going to leave a program this is the best way to do it. Unlike some other guy from this past season who's name escapes me.

Weird question...Groce started the same time Miles started. Looking at his record it's better than Miles. I'm glad Miles is getting another year, but what's he got on the AD. What am I missing?

yeah I know this is a death wish here...and I know it's probably never going to happen, but I'd still like to see us get Duke or North Carolina at the PBA as part of the ACC Challenge. Could you just imagine a schedule with either Duke/North Caroline and Kansas at home???? Although I'm guessing it will be someone we have played already in the past contests.

This might be the stupidest question you hear all day, but if we do have players leave (that might have had playing time next season) do we go for transfers that will have to sit out a year or do with go with graduate transfers who can play immediately?

There's a few of them that I wouldn't mind seeing transfer to another school.

I know it's probably just me...and well..maybe a lot of people that don't post on this board but: I'd expect with the talent we have (or are supposed to have depending on if you put this all on Miles or put some of it on the players) that Nebraska reaches the NCAA next year no matter who is coaching. Tim Miles...Roy Williams...Scott Frost...hell Lil' Red. I also expect us to beat Creighton next year as well. Next year is not a rebuilding year unless a new coach comes in and dumps a portion of the team...or they transfer out. As far as I'm concerned...this year was rock bottom. Nowhere to go up up.

Yeah I mentioned the same thing the other day. It might be the only way anyone in Husker Nation will see him coach here.

Maybe they can get Scott Frost to come coach. I sure as hell don't see him coaching the football team.
