  1. to start the season: Cain Mershon Brown Eililey Whitish depending on match-ups, could see Cain, Eililey, Brown, Haiby, and Whitish. it will be interesting to see if Bourne can crack the starting line-up. i expect she will get plenty of minutes no matter what. if she can, i would guess the line-up could be Cain, Bourne, Eililey, Brown, and Whitish. Haiby won't sit long, if at all.
  2. kinda figured there was a bit of sarcasm Big Ten so far: Iowa #39 Purdue #37 Rutgers #32

And with a healthy Yeaney, much needed size and veteran leaders, Moren has her squad on the way to dancing into March once again."

  6. don't think huskers will be in their top 44.

  10. a little surprised OSU didn't crack at least a mention with the recruiting class they have coming in. i suppose too many "unprovens" there. sure been quiet on that investigation front---or, if anything is going on there at all.
  11. #1 Oregon... #5 Maryland #16 Minnesota #21 Indiana #23 Michigan #25 MSU Rutgers gets a mention https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/27530932/uconn-louisville-nc-state-way-too-early-preseason-top-25
  12. best of luck to her---but, ya' kinda wonder what she could be if she just concentrated on one sport. who knows, maybe that is what she ends up doing. as long as she doesn't have any lingering issues with the knee.
  13. a very good read about a girl from minnesota with quite the work ethic. impressive---support from parents, no pressure from them. https://www.prepgirlshoops.com/2019/09/its-labor-day-and-shes-the-hardest-working-player-i-know/
  14. guessing this must be the one? (Kingston, Ont) http://africa.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/238422/aaliyah-edwards
  15. while Cain was a great pickup for the huskers, going forward i think fans will see more like this type of recruit at the post. some height but able to shoot from anywhere on the floor. think this would be a nice get for the huskers.

  18. i forgot it was her sister that played at iowa. probably because hannah was living in n.d. at the time of her recruitment and later family moved to mn.
  19. wow. bummer for her. https://bismarcktribune.com/sports/local/century-star-ware-suffers-significant-knee-injury/article_097a1120-9919-50b6-a5ec-94108d363921.html "It is not immediately known if or when surgery will be required." huh? don't know the %'s but most seem to come back just fine. just stretches some things out a bit. seems like it's about a 6-9 month recovery nowadays. amazing what they do.
  20. just curious, anyone know the story on maddie krull (hoopgurlz #87 for 2020)? did huskers offer or, maybe she had no interest in going to lincoln? good pickup for usd.
  21. minny doesn't want to believe whalen is gonna miss on in-state recruits (except for maybe special ones like bueckers(sp?) i did see a list that contained many of their targets through about 2022. have to say, it is rather impressive. who knows how many, if any, whalen gets. i believe it was pretty guard heavy. don't know much about stewart.
  22. hmmmmm.....wonder if this is the assistant taking the fall (for someone else?)
