  1. ^^^ hard to argue with that! GBR!
  2. Indiana---just cause they are at home Nebraska---again, glad this one is at PBA. huge game (thank you, iowa) Purdue Penn St Minnesota---borton may be trying to save job (chatter from many fans: they'd like jim peterson, wolves broadcaster and lynx asst or a. johnson from south dakota state) iowa
  3. i wonder if Yori considered putting Havers in to guard the wisconsin player throwing the ball in? with her length, i would think it could have caused havoc with the inbound play. may have been just a few seconds too many left. it may have been something to really consider had there been less than 3-4 seconds left. just something to chew on.
  4. made me laugh. since iowa's defense is suspect, i thought huskers had a very good shot at this one. what a game by T!!! congrats to her!
  5. hoping to see the same defensive tenacity they showed against michigan! GBR!
  6. great all around game, huskers! GBR!
  7. i don't know what nw has coming in for recruits, but, glancing at their roster combined with watching a couple of their tv games---i predict this will be a team to be reckoned with for the next few years. may not quite be title material, but, could be top 6 and will give plenty of teams headaches. i believe they start 3 freshman? if huskers go 6-0, Samuel Adams for everyone!!!
  8. turns out to really be a tough stretch coming up: @ nw, iowa, wis, and mich---with home games against mich and msu thrown in. i really have no idea how this stretch goes. 2-4? 4-2 wouldn't surprise me either.
  9. thanks slammin1. appreciate the feedback! GBR!
  10. just a little observation---anyone have an explanation why havers was sitting by herself (albeit with asst coaches) instead of with the group of other teammates on the bench. just find that a little odd. i thought she looked very impressive at the beginning of the year. maybe she has "hit the wall"? could be i am just trying to read too much into this, but, i didn't think she looked good. not sure if it's mental or physical---or maybe a little of both.
  11. i just don't see any real surprises in these games. the only game i had to analyze a bit is wiscy-ill. wiscy had a little fortune in defeating green bay monday nite. approx a 35ft'er to send the game into overtime. green bay should have won that game. anyway, pick time: purdue over osu iowa over indy neb over nw ill over wisc
  12. nice win. i was thinking that the yotes might be able to turn this into one of those games where they were the "dog nipping at your heels"---maybe a little closer game. good to see huskers take care of business. GBR!!!
  13. that's a shame. i thought she could still come off the bench and give the huskers some good minutes---but, if your heart is no longer in it. she seemed to be full of support for the players on the floor when she was on the bench. wish katie nothing but the best!
  14. wouldn't surprise me to see gusso's squad come in firing on all cylinders. it also wouldn't surprise me if the yotes have had this game in the back of their mind for awhile. imo, the two players to watch will be harrington and seekamp. although harrington is 5'11", she seems to have that "knack" of being in the right place at the right time around the basket. seekamp is seekamp---she most likely will get her share of points, sidenote: observations from just a handful of yotes games i have watched from playing jackrabbits and summit league tourney. anyway, i still think it will take a heck of a game by yotes to keep it near a 10pt loss. GBR!!!
  15. http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_24622625/womens-hoop-teams-lure-fans-bacon-beer mmmmmm..........
  16. just my opinion, but, i thought it might take awhile for the players to really get familiar with PBA (like most of the preseason schedule). you know, getting familiar with shooting background and depth perception. really, the only thing i thought what could be called "home court advantage" would be the crowd.
  17. what a nice problem to have at a women's bb game! on the other hand,
  18. if it is tagyn larson, pretty sure she is the sister of cody larson who commited to iowa, then headed to florida to become a gator---he then had personal problems that ended that. long story short, he now plays for south dakota state. believe she has an offer from sdsu also.
  19. watched some video of her a few months ago---like her game! thought she would be a great addition. congrats go out to all!!!
