Think we are very similar in our thoughts other than to say only 1 disappointment, I would say Erstad was poor at best and 1 okay and as you said, given he made folks hate him, he needed to go.

Wish we could but no great assistant will take a job in Lincoln until Moos poops or gets off the pot with Miles contract. I know if you're looking you don't want to extend and make the pay out more but not doing so may set the program back a long ways.

My thoughts on this too. Pelini was good - hard to argue 9 wins a season, but far from great. Miles has been average to goo Erstad below average - Yes he won the Big 10 but that is like being the skinny kid at fat camp.
