Record wise in Big 10 is similar to what I thought. Didn't think we'd win at Indiana and Maryland. But also have no excuse to lose to Northwestern and Ohio St at home either. Gardner Webb is an embarrassment and indictment as well.

When 'just not making shots' is an issue over and over again, it becomes a coaching thing.

Tough to make shots from the bench

I won't fault Miles individually on any of those guys...but the fact that we have Fuller and McVeigh on scholarship on top of an empty scholarship or two every year and guys like Daum, Patton, Hollins, Agau, Bradley, Thomas, Thurman are all out there and not one of them ever made it here is nothing but incredibly frustrating.

I think there is a spot for him in the rotation. Just not at the rate he's been getting minutes. Scoring points is our issue and right now he's a guy that simply doesn't score very much in relationship to how much he plays. And he never has been. Unless we want more of the same, we'll need to sacrifice some defense for some offense.

That seems to happen a lot versus us.

I don't think he's a true 3....but I think he's one of the more talented guys we have and is a guy capable of knocking down 2-3 3's in a game. Really could almost play Tai at the 3 and Gill at 2.

Personally want to see a combo of Taylor/Roby/Gill at the 3. Have Horne and Roby take the 4 with Ed and Jordy at the 5. Occasionally using ed at the 4 alongside Jordy. I love Jacobson's efforts, but with the lack of shooters on this team, we simply need more than 5 points a game from someone who plays 30 minutes. He needs to be backed down.

I can see 3 wins. I can see 10 wins. You don't know what to expect from this squad and there is enough parity in the league this year that a team like ours can make a run if guys like Gill and Horne can find a rythm

They are 4-8 with some bad losses to a D2 school, 3-8 Tulane amongst others. They are not good. They might be better than Sacramento St, but let's stop painting them as a quality opponent or a win that you can hang your hat on. As I said and you as well pointed out, the fact that its a close game is a bigger testament to us not being where we should than it is about them being a good program

If it was up to me.....my lineup for Indiana would look like this: PG-Watson/Taylor SG-Webster/Gill SF-Gill/Roby PF-Roby/Horne/Jacobson C-Morrow/Jordy/Jacobson Jacobson needs fewer minutes until he figures out what he wants to be offensively.

Let's stop painting this picture that Southern is a good or even decent team. They aren't. It's nice to get a win, but this game isn't close if we are where we want/should be. They might make the dance because the SWAC is so bad, but they aren't good. It was good to see Horne have some success, we need someone to experience some. Confidence is a big thing shooting wise. Still want to see more Roby. Jacobson is struggling big time offensively now. Also hoping that Gill has found something. Even against GW, he looked better on the floor despite the poor shooting. The loss to GW probably killed any realistic hopes of a tourney run, but we can still compete with the middle half of the conference if we play well like we did in Anaheim and Clemson.

I'm not saying we lost because we didn't start Glynn. But I think it's fair to wonder. I mean...it did take us what 3 and a half minutes to score? Does the feel and pace of that game change if we get up on them earlier?
