This takes another away. 20 conference games (10 on the road) 1 Away Game vs. a Top 20 team 2 Home Games vs NCAA teams last year and probably NIT at least this year 1,possibly 2 Neutral Site games against P5 teams that won 20+ last year That's more than good enough. Just for reference, no Big 10 team played more than 5 P6 teams in their non-con last year. And that was with 2 more games to play. If we play USC and Texas Tech, we'll have 6 with a tougher conference schedule. There's nothing smart about that. As I mentioned before, there's a far better chance this game bites us then it does help us.

My issues with Jordy aren’t that he’s not Olajuwon or Mutombo. It’s that too often he thinks he is and tries doing too much on one side of the court and ends up needlessly turning it over or committing a stupid foul. If he embraces his role and plays efficiently, than he is an asset. If he continues to commit dumb fouls, miss layups, turn it over, then play a smaller more skilled lineup

Agree. I'd take Smith over Jordy. I guess you can say his upside is higher, but Smith knew his role and did it well. Smith was more efficient. I'd love to have him/someone just like him on the roster this coming season.

They might not be good. But someone who is/was expected to be bad might be good. It will balance itself out. Not to mention we added 2 power conference games organically with the conference scheduling. Last year was an outlier. We are reacting to the exception, not the norm. I think it's far more likely we are unsuccessful in some of these games and having them come back on us, then the same situation like last year occurring a second year in a row.

Dependant on how we do the rest of the way it could. We already have a damn tough schedule. It's overreacton to a fluky outlier year last year. 20 conference games and 6 more majors? I think he'd be ready. It'd be ideal because of what's around him too. Yeah. Jordy off the bench. Roby and Copeland need to play as much as possible. Give Jordy 10-15mpg depending how quickly he's piling up fouls that game.

I think the big question is who wins the 2 spot. Allen/Thor/Akenten battling it out. I think NaNa might be the odd man out there. Harris will play. Think Borchardt sees some spot time right now, depending if we find another big. Hopefully we do.
