Not sure I would call 39 minutes, 8 points, 4 boards, 6 assists, and 1 turnover invisible. Thank you. Talley is pretty huge for us. Even though his scoring has gone down, we've been depending on him in other ways. As someone else mentioned, he's turned into a solid point guard for us.

I think some people are remembering McCray for his sophomore year and not his freshmen year. Right now...I think you have to give it to Joe. Again...key words are right now. If Shields keeps up what he's been doing over the last couple weeks for the rest of the year....he'll have a real strong argument.

Big stretch to just assume that Webster and Biggs are better suited for the 2 spot. Shields is going to be a very very good player here for us Rivers is developing into an okay role player. Getting better. Gonna be interesting though next year with Fuller and Petteway though Parker is very meh to me.

It's illogical but it's also the rules. The refs were technically correct in that part. That being said....it's an absolutely ridiculously stupid rule and concept.

Nice win. Always nice to get the first one. Continue to be impressed with what Miles gets out of these guys. While I think the refs technically did their job and made a correct call in the end....the rule itself is absolutely idiotic.

Sad for Ubel. Looking at this in a positive light....it gets Vucetic on the floor more which develops him for the future. We find out more about him. With Ubel...maybe we steal 3-4 conference wins. Without...maybe 1....not a big deal for this year for the program. Feel bad for Ubel, who was having a solid senior season.

Actually wouldn't surprise me if it is that way. Adidas is the lesser brand. We can go with more popular more mainstream brand...or the alternative...which is money. It's a chance for a powerplay/leverage by the institution

Considering the caliber of the schools that recruited the two....I wouldn't call them the same type of player.

I'm wondering whether it makes sense to take more than one more player in this class. As things stant at this instant, we'd have three ships to offer for next year. If we add an Atewe, that takes us down to two, unless we have some unscheduled attrition. I'd like us to have three spots to offer for next year because I think we can get in on the more elite players for next year instead of the sloppy seconds for this year. Think Fuller, Webster and Hawkins for '14. It might be a couple of bigs and a point or something like that, but that level of player (or possibly even better because we've offered some VERY good players and one or more of them might pan out, you never know.) Anyway, my thought process is I'd prefer to bring in one more guy this year and save the rest of the spots for the 2014 class. I'm sure there will be some attrition. Nothing against the kid...but it wouldn't surprise me to see Parker leave. Not sure where he fits in with Webster and Biggs coming in the next 2 years.

Atewe is the exact type of player that we need and havent been able to land in a decade+
