I’m all for tempering expectations, especially for a team that has never played together. But history says that little of prediction value can be drawn from a show-off scrimmage like this. That being said, here are my two predictions: barring injury, this team will: 1. be better at the end of the season than at the beginning; and 2. make greater progress than other teams as they gel together.

I saw him on the sideline at Memorial Stadium. in person, he looks the part of a high-level athlete.

Rumor: Teddy might be getting some current Nebrasketball interest.

None were very good—and I don’t know who they are.

There were lots of basketball recruits on the sideline at last night’s football game: at least a half-dozen.
