Sorry, but OSU will name the score now that they are heating up. Ball handling is horrid but we are physically overmatched at nearly every position. I just want to see if the team will compete the rest of the game.
Someone has to be an offensive threat other than Watson or Webster. Roby has to look to score when he is in the game.
Pardon tends to have great games against us.
How are we going to rebound against Purdue?
Why is Webster in the game late? Avoid a late injury.
I am not sure we are all that talented. Zone defense is a sieve, man not much better. Offensively, the passing is predictable and the offense is stagnant. I really don't know if there are any buttons to push. A bigger concern is I don't see improvement in players skills and team efficiency at both ends of the court.
I don't think what is coming aboard next year is going to make a huge difference. More quality depth but it is going to be a long climb out of the basement. I follow the team faithfully and wish them well but we have to be patient.
Let's wait until the season is over. Every game will be a challenge for this team in B1G. We can compete with every team for a win on a given day except for Purdue. We just cannot matchup with Purdue. My hope is the team keeps battling, gets Ed Morrow back, gains some confidence and gets hot at the B1G Tournament! I am old so I have to be positive and dream a little.
I tried, and failed, to learn the Haka at Rotorua, New Zealand last May. Audience members were invited in stage at the Maori Cultural Centerbto participate. Wearing a black shirt with the Silver fern would be a great tribute to Tai Webster.
AAU is going to be the ruination of HS sports except for football. Kids pay more attention to their AAU Coach and shoe company than to the High School coach.
Any reason Grace Mitchell did not play or played very little? I was watching Michigan v Maryland and trying to listen to Huskers. I was impressed how Michigan stayed with Maryland and their Sophomore center is a nice player. NU is probably playing about as well as they can with talent on hand.
Jordy seems to be a liability playing at the bottom of the 1-3-1 zone. Roby seems to work well covering ground in the middle. I would like to see him on the wing to trap the ball. NU uses that zone differently than some others. I liked a quick guy on the baseline.
