  1. Iowa averages 7 made threes per game. Against us they made 7 in the first 18 minutes. Rutgers averages 6 per game.
  2. He gives us better perimeter defense than anyone on the team outside of Sam
  3. Iowa has played 15 games and only has one player who has made more than 12 threes this season. That’s wild. Nebraska has six players who’ve made at least 12 threes and two more guys that are close.
  4. Nebraska also made Oregon State look like a bunch of scrubs. They aren’t good by any means. But they handled USC and all of their conference losses are by single digits.
  5. Williams has given up about 20 points today on the defensive end
  6. He's not listed on the (un)availability report.
  7. This team was tied with Missouri with 16 minutes left in the game.
  8. Probably an unpopular question.. Is Keisei not a great college three point shooter? I know the narrative is that he is (and this narrative helps us a great deal with the amount of gravity Keisei has on the court). I know Hoiberg has always said that he is. I know that he's probably one of the best three point shooters in the entire world in a gym just shooting around. Outside of an 8 game stretch towards the end of last season, he's been very average, dare I say even mediocre, from behind the arc in his college career. I know opponents have him circled on their scouting report. They had Cary Cochran and Brian Conklin circled too, and they played in an era when defenses could play much more physical on the perimeter. The numbers between those guys and Keisei are very different.
  9. Sure. I still don't believe Cross was forced out simply because he was a Doc recruit.
  10. I don't think that's why. A lot of Matt's recruits were forced out after a season as well.
  11. This is a bad Minnesota team playing without their best player
  12. And just their mental and physical toughness. On a softness to toughness scale this team is much closer to 2020 nebraska than last year nebraska. Didn’t think that would be the case this year.
  13. We are so incredibly soft at the rim. Brice’s decisions are preventing us from having a chance to get back in it.
  14. We are so incredibly soft at the rim
  15. Brice and CJ had great halves. Juwan is doing a lot of little things that lead to winning basketball.
  16. 1 foul called on Minnesota this half
  17. That's not even a foul on Keisei, let alone a flagrant foul.
  18. The Maryland-Penn St. game featured 52 fouls, 28 turnovers and combined roughly 35% shooting from the field.
  19. Three blatant non-blockouts by Boogie leading to offensive rebounds
  20. Seems like any time Lawrence seems to be heating up a bit he gets subbed out before the next possession.
  21. Maryland and Penn State look like they should both be in the Horizon League. This is awful basketball.
  22. That's at least a dozen wasted possessions as far as I'm concerned. Drives me nuts.
  23. I'm pretty sure it was Loenser who screamed "Get back on f***ing defense!" when this exact scenario happened in the second half. Might've been Howard. Fred has been pretty adamant all along that he doesn't want to take away from any of Keisei's emotion and passion on the court, but it is time to reel the antics in a bit. I remember a couple situations last year when Ernie gave him a talking to on the bench and it seemed to help. I do think Keisei is coachable (and I applaud him for that because there are plenty of players who aren't and we've had our fair share during Hoiberg's tenure) and will cut some of the crap if he's told to or if there are negative consequences for the crap.
  24. Most of Baylor's shots really had nothing to do with rotations. Simply the defender guarding him not being locked in.
