That sounds threatening, but when you consider the First 4 Out are Southern Miss, Minnesota, Florida State, Arkansas...they are all done playing and none of their resumes are better than ours, and that I am confident in. Of his Next 4 Out, only NC State is still playing. Please, Duke, take care of them tomorrow.

Boise State is down 5 to New Mexico early in 2nd half. Come on New Mexico. Pretty easy who to root for on Saturday: St. Joseph's > St. Bonaventure (Semifinal) Duke > NC State (Semifinal) Creighton > Providence (Final) Louisiana Tech > Tulsa (Final) Toledo > Western Michigan (Final) Florida > Tennessee (Semifinal) Kentucky > Georgia (Semifinal) (or if you're a gambler hope for Georgia to win this one, then lose to Florida in final. I'd just as soon get all the bid stealers out before the final) If we can get all these to go our way, I can't see any scenario in which we get left out.

Terran needs to learn that it is far more important that we have him on the court for offense than the slim chance that he might make a clean steal while risking an obvious foul call. His early fouls are always very dumb and ticky tack, but he shouldn't be giving refs those chances.

UNLV down 5 at half...good Northwestern getting drilled...good Clemson up 21-19 on Duke...Duke, seriously, if you were ever going to not choke, can you just not do it in the next 2 days. We do not want NC State and Clemson playing for a spot in the ACC final.

Updated potential bid stealers Atlantic 10 - St. Bonaventure ACC - NC State, Clemson Big East - Providence Big Ten - Northwestern SEC - Mississippi, Georgia MWC - UNLV, Boise State

Oh, and the Ohio State loss put our SOS at 18 on Live-RPI. A 19-11 team with an 11-7 Big Ten record and 18 SOS getting left out? Can't see it.

There are likely 22 one-bid leagues, leaving 46 other spots. The only teams left in these one-bid leagues with a *chance* at an at-large are Toledo (MAC), Southern Miss (CUSA), La. Tech (CUSA). Root like hell for these teams to win the league (although our resume stacks up just fine with all of them). Let's say Toledo and Southern Miss win their leagues. Of those 46 spots left, they will be eaten up by 10 conferences. Let's just hope the 10 conference champions are teams already locked in to the field. These are the teams in the 10 conferences that could still throw a wrench into things: American - Houston Atlantic 10 - St. Bonaventure, Richmond ACC - NC State, Clemson Big East - Seton Hall, Providence Big Ten - Northwestern, Minnesota SEC - LSU, Mississippi, Georgia MWC - UNLV, Boise State Good thing is WCC was won by Gonzaga, Pac-12 will be won by a lock, Big 12 will be won by a lock. There are lots of favorites left in the 7 conferences above, so things still look fine. Assuming all 10 major conferences have a team already in win it, then there are 36 spots left. 29 are basically set in stone. That leaves 7 spots left for (in order of RPI)...bolded teams probably in already BYU (done) Tennessee Dayton (done) Minnesota Nebraska (done) Missouri (done) Providence SMU (done) Florida State (done) Iowa (done) Green Bay (done) California (done) Saint Mary's (done) North Carolina State Louisiana Tech St. John's (done) Georgetown (done) Richmond Arkansas (done) Our resume stacks up with the best in this group. No way there are 7 teams ahead of us in that group. Now if 3 or 4 of the 10 major conferences are won by teams outside the bubble...then we should probably worry.

This is going to have us so ready to play next week. It sucks now, but this team always plays better with a chip on its shoulder, and it will now have a big one. -

Keep going to the rim! They are getting tired and committing lazy fouls! Only way we lose is if we turn into a jump shooting team -

Ohio State, not a great shooting team, is shooting 58%. We are shooting 30% and are only down 2. We will win. -

LMAO. You know it's bad when unbiased announcers are calling out the refs. -

Nice no call, refs. Really cool. But let's call some handchecks 30 feet from the rim. -
I've always thought if Stephen Colbert had gray hair he would be Fran McCaffery.
-
But they have so much DEPTH!

Gesell was 0-10 tonight. Not at all the collegiate player many thought he was going to be. I would honestly be shocked if Tai Webster's sophomore stats next year are not better than Gesell's this year.
-
Dickerson and Gesell deserve each other. Are people tweeting him or is he on here? Otherwise why would he know anything about what we are saying about Iowa. Kind of seems to be worrying a bit too much about us. I'm sure he's getting hit with a lot of Twitter "trolls" right now. Most of those "trolls" aren't Nebraska fans. It's the entire nation laughing at them.
-
If we've learned anything from this season, it's that for seeding purposes it is much better to be good in November-January and suck in February and March than the other way around. Which makes no sense if you think about it.
-
Dickerson and Gesell deserve each other.
-
Iowa's resume is worse than ours. And they are playing horrible right now.
-
We better not be seeded below Iowa in the tournament.
-
It's really pretty simple for us: 18, 12, 12, 18, 10, 11, 7 = Number of Free Throw Attempts in our conference losses (Avg. 12.6) 26, 33, 19, 14, 27, 21, 48, 27, 17, 19, 25 = Number of Free Throw Attempts in our conference wins (Avg. 25.1) Live at the rim = we win
-
You're probably right, but if the committee is doing its job, they shouldn't get in so easily. SMU has 3 bad losses - all worse than our worst loss. 19 of their 23 wins are against teams 100+ in the RPI. 11 of our 19 wins are like that.
