Also posted by you TAA on Feb. 27: "In case anyone hasn't noticed Wisconsin has been playing much better since their mid season swoon. NU will lose at Indiana and against Wisco." Get out of here.

    Gone

1 or 2 people at most said that. I looked. Most on your board are smart enough to stop making fun of us now because they know how embarrassing it would be should the unthinkable happen. This was posted 2 weeks ago on your dumb board: "He is so excited about husker basketball and the (10%) chance of them making the tourny, that he feels the need to come on this board and stir the pot. Miles as COY is laughable considering the clown can't win on the road and since when does the 6th place team get COY??...Sorry Nebby, not this year. But good luck in the NIT and thanks for the laughs." And we definitely won't be overlooking a 6 seed Baylor, a game most of us are extremely nervous about.
  3. No, no they haven't. This is Creighton's best team since in the current era of Bluejay hoops (Altman to present day). Creighton has never had what they haver right now and may never again. This is the gold standard at Creighton and will be for some time. Which isn't to say they won't be good, they very well may continue to be good or even very good, but it's unlikely they'll see this level of a team anytime soon. Just FYI, if you re-read it, he said "much better teams" than CU have succumbed to the pressure, not "much better CU teams"...I think we all can agree this is the best CU team ever.
  4. A few weeks back I read a post on the Creighton board that referred to our "cute little run to the CIT." And now, if/when we lose to Baylor or Creighton this weekend, they will mock us. The same fanbase that proclaimed us as talented as a mid-level SWAC team back in December (yes, that was actually said seriously) will laugh at us when we are eliminated from the NCAA Tournament when we were picked last in the Big Ten, in the second year of our head coach, and have 1 senior who is a role player. After they beat us, they said that all our momentum from the new arena was gone and that we had missed our moment to get better. They are as delusional as it comes. Sadly, I'm not confident the dream will come true this year of ending their season, mostly because Baylor will be extremely tough to beat in San Antonio. We are a young team who has way overachieved, and unfortunately sometimes teams play with a "happy to be there" attitude. I hope we don't, but I wouldn't be surprised. But, the future is as bright as it gets, and this time, there's actual evidence on the court to show that.
  5. I love the 11:40 tip time. We won't spend all day working ourselves into a nervous wreck. And the morning games are usually like country club atmospheres. If it was at night, there would be way more Baylor fans there.
  6. I don't know what will happen, but I will be very disappointed if SMU is ahead of us. We are better in almost every category except for they are 8-8 on the road/neutral and we are 4-11. Every other metric is in our favor. Road/Neutral is our biggest downfall. Our only hope is the committee recognizes we won at Michigan State and Indiana late in the season, and that we've played a lot of darn good teams on the road. It's no coincidence that among the last 8 teams, Dayton, BYU and SMU have the best road/neutral records...because they play easy teams. The 3 bad losses are no different than the other 11-12 seeds. Only the road/neutral record looks bad on our resume compared to ASU, Iowa, SMU, Tennessee, Xavier, Dayton and BYU.
  7. Yes our poor record because of games at Creighton, Cincinnati, Michigan, Ohio State, UMASS (neutral), Iowa, Illinois...too ba we didn't get to play at Fordham or Loyola. Darn
  8. Fixed your post for you. Look, cut the sour grapes crap, it makes the rest of us look bad. When a team whips you, it's always best to man up and admit it. Not whine about playing the starters too much. Used to hear the same crap when we'd kick Big 8 teams like K-State's ass in football back in the day.Let's keep our mouth shut until we get another crack at the....and beat them!!! Then, let's start talking. Wait so you told me to "man up" after registering on a Husker message board to pose as a Husker fan. Classy, Jay. Don't you have a "Delusional" thread to go post in?
  9. They'll get 4 teams in. A-10 will get more.
  10. Fixed your post for you. Look, cut the sour grapes crap, it makes the rest of us look bad. When a team whips you, it's always best to man up and admit it. Then, let's start talking. Whine about starters playing too much? Learn how to read. You're making us look bad. We ended up losing by 15 points on their home court, and we didn't make the run against their bench players (my point about the minutes played).
  11. Fixed your post for you.
  12. They're not going far in this tournament. They can't play from behind either, because they can't play defense worth a lick. A few weeks ago when we were on the outside looking in we needed Georgetown and Xavier to both lose to Creighton, and Creighton lost both. Their moronic fanbase will probably take pleasure in that their loss maybe put us in a play-in game. They're too infatuated with what's happening in our program to realize their best team ever is now 1 loss away from a season with zero banners.
  13. Hey guess what, we've won as many trophies as Creighton has this year.
  14. Toledo has 0 top 50 wins. There's just no way they can compete with ours, or even Minnesota's resume.
  15. This site attempts to, but I don't believe it's 100% accurate every game... http://statsheet.com/mcb/games/2014/03/14/ohio-state-71-nebraska-67/plus_minus
  16. We were done with Benny before he even stepped foot on campus?! Geez, this board is harsh!
  17. Was really pulling for Ohio State today. That would have guaranteed that Nebraska had owned a win over the B1G tourney champion. While that would be nice, it won't really matter. Everything will already be decided before tomorrow's B1G championship game. All that game will matter for is what seed Michigan and Michigan State (it looks like) get.
  18. seriously though...they shouldn't be in.
  19. Michigan blowing a huge lead against OSU can only help us look better. See, we're just as good as Michigan
  20. Now we have to hope Duke and Creighton win. I feel dirty. We don't want Georgia to win the SEC, but if they beat Kentucky to reach the final and Florida takes care of them tomorrow, that would be ideal.
  21. St. Bonaventure down 15 now, no bid going to be stolen there.
  22. Correct. Lunardi is very average compared to others when it comes to projecting seeds.
  23. We can officially not worry about the Mountain West now...2 bid league just as expected.
  24. Likely not, but Toledo and La Tech would at least have an argument should they lose, so let's just hope they both win. Southern Miss shouldn't get in, they are like 3-3 against the top 100. You can't even seriously debate their merits alongside a team like us that has played 8 games alone against top 25 teams compared to their 6 top 100 games.
  25. That sounds threatening, but when you consider the First 4 Out are Southern Miss, Minnesota, Florida State, Arkansas...they are all done playing and none of their resumes are better than ours, and that I am confident in. Of his Next 4 Out, only NC State is still playing. Please, the Duke, take care of them tomorrow. It's not just about those at-large bids, it's also about the conference tourneys that could push us out. Things are looking good there for now, but you just never know. Oh I know, but I think Lunardi literally has us as low as he could possibly put us. No one knows what the real committee is thinking. Shoot, they might have us ahead of SMU, Dayton, Iowa, Providence, Tennessee, BYU...we don't know. They might have watched that game today and saw 2 even teams, one that was victimized by some questionable calls which the announcers on TV even pointed out. After Wisconsin laid the wood to Minnesota tonight, we look even better at the moment.
