Yep, probably deserve at least 9 teams in the tourney, if not all of them. Same for the Big 12 and SEC. Big Ten is definitely down, though. 2, maybe 3 teams make the tourney, tops.

Just to point out the other side to this argument, Northwestern would be 5-4 if they had beaten us, Wisky would be tied with PSU, Maryland, and the NUrds had we Nebraskatballed that game away. and we bear Minny before they tanked due to their issues. I believe there is a significant drop off after the top 5 (maybe 6) teams in the Big Ten. Nebraska and Maryland are bubble teams IMO, everyone else is NIT bubble at best. If we don't win all our home games and steal two more on the road, that would be underperforming, I think.

My question is, how much credit will the committee give us for beating a full strength Minnesota team? That would be extremely helpful. Hopefully the committee uses the "eye test". We've gone toe to toe with Creighton, KU, OSU, and even gave Purdue a decent battle. No doubt in my mind we look like a tournament team, even if the record doesnt reflect it.
