    Kind of stinks we had to play the hottest team in the conference, if not the NCAAs, in our first game, while teams like USC, UCLA, Alabama, and Texas all got to play scrubs, which apparently now helps your resume instead of meaning nothing (yes, Texas A&M is a scrub.)

    I don't really disagree with Calipari. Once the NCAA tourney starts, no one remembers who won the conference tourney, unless a team sneaks in.

    You know, for all the talk about quadrants, I thought the committee also talked about emphasizing road wins this year. Take a look at our road record against some other bubble teams.

    I never liked Crean at IU. But he's growing on me. IU fans actually say he's a great person, just a bad coach (who does that remind me of?).

    Honestly, no bubble team (including NU) has a beef if they get left out. Don't go under .500 in conference, don't finish below .500 in your last 10-15 games, don't lose to 200+ RPI teams, don't blow games in your biggest games against Creighton, KU, Ohio St., Penn St., or Illinois.

    Which teams have hype? Bama and maybe OU (though the Trey Young shine is long gone, IMO). There reset are a bunch of teams that didn't take care of business and played themselves onto the bubble.

    Looking at these teams schedule, it's amazing how similar they are to NU. Nevada has a nice win over Rhode Island, but that's about it. I just don't get why Nevada is a lock and NU isn't.
