Great idea to allow a team who may get fatigue to walk the ball up the court and dribble for 20 seconds. While the rest of the team gets to rest.

This team is simple to guard. Go all out on Walker and Griesel. Let everybody else beat you.

It's kind of hard to coach when your 2 best players can't throw a simple pass 5 feet to a wide open player.

I have us 6 - 4. Wins vs FSU, BC, Creighton, Queens, Iowa, and Minnesota. Losses vs Memphis, Purdue, KSU, and MSU.

I believe he should get out of the shadow of Saban and the football team. Come to a basketball school like Nebraska.

I'm pretty sure it is just in football. You are allowed to play in 4 games without burning a redshirt. I wish all other sports could figure out a way to do that.

He had a career low 0 fouls against PSU in 11 minutes. He literally had fouled at least once in all 29 previous games.

Sam played 38 minutes. Walker played 34 minutes. That line-up was out there for a max of 2 minutes. Without Bandoumel, Gary, Lloyd, McPherson, Keita that line-up has a chance to be out there every once in a while.

Our dismal free throw shooting was courtesy of our freshmen. Dawson and Lawrence finished 1 - 9. The rest of the team was a respectable 12 - 15. Our defense was worn down by the end. Dawson played 39 minutes. He played real well on defense in the 1st half. Did not have the same energy in the 2nd half. PSU was getting any shot they wanted in the 2nd half. Wilcher and Keisei combined to go 5 - 12 from 3. Need to have that if we are without Bandoumel for awhile. Wilhelm needs to hit open 3's if he is going to take them. Great effort. Losing Bandoumel hurt on the defensive end. I don't think PSU shoots 68.0% with Bandoumel out there. I don't know if we win, but it sucks to lose him.

Nebraska 64 Northwestern 57

I'm actually about the same as before the game. OSU is not playing very well, and we were lucky to get out with a win. Maybe, a little more hopeful. It has to do with the contributions from Dawson, Lawrence, and Oleg. The only trouble is that they are young and are going to be inconsistent.

I'm not sure which OSU player it was, but there was a play where OSU missed a shot. The OSU guy went to box out and literally blocked Dawson out of bounds. Nothing called.

To be fair, I think he yelled at all of them.

Has Fred ever received a technical at Nebraska? I don't remember any.

You may not be having a good night as refs if you have to give Fred a T.

Ohio State's offense is terrible. They have no ball movement whatsoever.

Miles is a good coach. Bad coaches don't take a team San Jose State to possibly their 3rd winning season in the last 30 years. Possible 2019 - 20 roster included Xavier Johnson (a 5 year power 5 starter) , Mika Adams-Woods (a part time starter in the AAC), Isaiah Roby (a player who had 10.1 PPG in the NBA).

It wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't given Frost an extension following 4 - 8 and 5 - 7 seasons, but not give a 1 year extension to a coach for setting a record for conference wins. Maybe Kenya still leaves. I'm going to side with him staying. Which most likely keeps Xavier.

Watson and Webster would be on my list of players developed.
