They did kind of throw us one the following year. They gave us a home game despite us finishing 13th in the conference. The 2017-18 team was the biggest screwjob ever, though. No way was that team that far away from the NCAA tournament. In the minds of the NIT, we had to pass 16 other schools to make the tournament.

Of course we could. If he was able to get NIL money, he would be one of the highest paid players in the Big 10. Hopefully, they can change the rule before Japenese league teams ask for his services. Knowing Nebrasketball, international players will be able to get NIL money the day after Keisei signs a contract with the Japanese league.

I considered putting him down in the bottom list. However, out of the 3 bigs, I think he is the biggest one to keep.

I know this is early, but here's who we absolutely need to come back next year. Gary Lloyd Lawrence Keisei Keita Players I would like to see back next year. I would be sad to see them leave, but think we could survive in the portal without them. Wilhelm Wilcher Oleg McPherson Denim

We don't win the Rutgers game or Iowa game without Wilcher. We don't win the Maryland game without Wilhelm and Keita coming in and grabbing defensive rebounds. Wilhelm and Wilcher have a spot. They should not be starting but will be important role players for this team. I don't see CJ shooting 31.0 percent from 3 next year. Gary, Lloyd, and Dawson need to be guys that need to get to the rim.

The doubling led to some of the worst passes I've seen a college basketball player make. They make 5.8 3's on average. I would take my chances having them make 10 3's than get shots at the rim. They were 12 - 16 at the rim and 10 - 24 from 3. We were 18 - 33 at the rim and 6 - 19 from 3. That's the game in a nutshell. We even go 75 % from at the rim, we win pretty easily.

It doesn't really effect us, but it would make me super happy if they went to the NIT.

Wisconsin went to an interesting defensive strategy. Hack and hammer Ohio State. Lucky for them the refs haven't called many fouls.

This offense has the ability to beat you in multiple ways. We can hit the ball out of the park like the 1st 4 innings. We can also manufacture runs. A hit and run gets runners on the corners. Next at bat, we put the ball in play and we score another run on a ground out. -

He needs to establish command. If he can throw strikes, he has the potential to be a Friday night guy. To be honest, I was more disappointed in the scoreless 1st than the 2 runs he gave up in the 2nd. He walked and hit a batter in the 1st. He gave up a single, and a hit and run single that sounded like it could have been a DP in the 2nd. -

I've been thinking about that for awhile. You have to put length on either Keisei or Griesel. Kind of pick your poison for opponents, unless you have a bunch of length. -

Iowa with 1 foul in 13 minutes. If memory serves, it took 12 minutes to get a foul called in Lincoln. -

Max gets pinch ran for. Will not get the chance for the cycle. Just needed a home run.
