If I recall correctly they went on their big run while he was on the bench. -
If Trev fires Hoiberg, how long does it take him to call Tyronn? And, how fast does Tyronn hang up the phone?

So, if Michigan shoots their regular percentages, they score 72 points. They would be 17 - 33 from 2, and 9 - 26 from 3 I don't think we closed out very well on shooters. Our adjustment was to stop doubling the post and that led to them getting in the lane. Walker had his best game in quite awhile 15 points 7 rebounds 8 assists 1 turnover. Add in Keisei, and we have a chance down the stretch in a bunch of these games, if Keisei and Walker play like that. Lawrence and Dawson played their worst game. I've been alright playing Wilcher until tonight. I was hoping, like the coaches were hoping, that he would find his shot. He hasn't and I don't think he is going to find it. Maybe in mop-up duty, he will find it. -

if you had Keisi and Lawrence as the only players in double figures and we win by 9, please let me know the Powerball numbers tomorrow. -

Shatel Weighs in on Hoiberg and Husker Hoops
brfrad replied to NUdiehard's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I don't understand playing a game in Omaha every year. We already play one every other year against Creighton. When I go to Lincoln, we have to go through Omaha. It takes 45 minutes to get through Omaha. It's not like people from Omaha can't make it to one of the 16 or 17 games a year played in Lincoln. -
What happens if we win 5 straight games from March 8 - 12?

Prior to the 1st Illinois game (with Gary's injury), in conference games we made 3 more free throws than our opponents attempted. Since then, we are -47 in attempts. -

Hoiberg with his welcome to Nebraska moment. Complaining about the "ticky tack fouls on Walker" Says the Big 10 allows the stars to get away with more except for Walker. Which is true. -

Nebraska (10-12) vs. Illinois (15-6) Game Thread

We did not take care of the ball in the 2nd half. That said the refs made many questionable calls in the 2nd half especially when the game was close. One time Walker went up for a shot. The Illinois player went for a block with his arms at a 90 degree angle, no call. The 2 charges were bogus. Walker's 4th foul was bogus. Griesel took a charge (at least as much as our team charged) before the foul on Walker. Oh well, we were closer than I thought we would be. -

First of all the foul on Wilcher was BS. The Maryland player shoved Wilhelm on the rebound and Wilcher is called for the foul. -

How was that not a foul on Maryland on Griesel's fast break? In the first half, the refs call a foul on Keisei with much less contact. That's what makes officials so annoying. One point in the game it is a foul. Later in the game it's not. It feels like it goes by the name on the front of the jersey. -

It's not the number of turnovers. It's the fact that we are giving up fast break buckets off those turnovers. We are -3 in turnovers, but -11 in points off turnovers. -

That last foul on Dawson was total BS. The Maryland player had Dawson hooked.
