    How did the ballpark hold that one? Best contact of the night.

    2 walks, 2 strikeouts and 2 seeing eye singles leads to 2 runs. An actual hard hit ball leads to another run. We just need 2 more 3 run innings and can win the game.

    I don't see us scoring 7 runs. Much like the Iowa series, we have not competed at the plate.

    Since our at large bid is kaput. Might as well lose a non conference game instead of a conference game. We need to win conference games to gain a spot in the conference tournament to win it and get the auto bid. The better idea is to win both non con and conference games.

    Bats are quiet. It doesn't seem like we are even making good contact. Down 6 - 0 with 2 outs in the top of the 6th.

    This is an interesting move. Shay to get an out. Camera angle is awful. Judging from Carey, Matthews, Sartori, and the bullpen that home run was extremely controversial.

    1 run helps. The camera angle was not good. But, from my vantage point, Columbus' ground ball looked pretty foul. I think I would have stuck with Bunz to finish it.

    Iowa's scored 23 runs in 6 innings. In the other 17 innings, they scored 2 runs.

    Let's pile up Shay's pitch count so he's unavailable for the 2 mid week games. I really like our chances of scoring 5 runs in 2 innings. We have scored 7 runs in 25 innings.

    Needed a series win, and are 9 outs away from getting swept. That slim chance of an at large bid just slammed shut. We weren't even competitive this weekend.

    I've thought the same. A series of the week. My feeling is Nebraska would have to be on every weekend to pay for it.
