Here's an unofficial stat. Miles has 2 wins at home against ranked teams, in his career at Nebraska. He has 3 wins, on the road against ranked teams.

According to Warren Nolan, we went from 102 to 68.

How are we guaranteed a losing season this year. I'm not saying we are going to go 13 - 5 or anything just based on this win. We still can finish above .500 in Big 10 play. Keep getting the Jimmys and Joes.

He's not a great in-game coach. He abandoned the zone in the final 10 minutes. I know we were making shots, but I still would have taken my chances, in us continuing to make those shots.

I think most of the guys playing in the 2nd half, have been playing pretty well.

Good effort in the 1st half. Obviously, struggled against the zone. The main reason is that we stopped being aggressive. When they were in man, we tried driving to the rim. A little tough to do that when they're in zone, but you can't sit around and throw the ball around for 25 seconds to force a bad shot. Went 5:30 scoring 1 point. Happy to only be down 3.

Refs are letting the teams play. A lot of contact down low, and Indiana slapping at Webster and Watson a bunch.

This match-up for us does not look promising for us. It is against one of the blue bloods in a historic building. I watched one game involving Indiana and it was against Butler. Butler slowed the pace down, and hit shots (something we don't do very well). Looking at the stats. Indiana shoots 40.1 % from 3, and opponents shoot 27.0 % from 3. They do very well on the offensive boards, rebounding 45% of their own misses, and shoot 51.9%. That means that 74% of their shots either go in the basket, or they grab their own rebound. I am trying to find an area where we might have an advantage, but I don't see one. I don't like our chances, but you never know. To stay in the game, we have to guard them from 3, and make some outside shots. Getting Bryant in foul trouble would be a plus. Webster and Watson need to get in the lane, and when they get in the lane, need to make their shot or pass to a wide open shooter. That said shooter needs to make shots. I think slowing down the pace, a little will help.

Rutgers seems like a scrappy team. Only down 9 to Wisconsin at the under 8 timeout.

Needed to win. Our team 3 years ago, had a certain confidence following the win at Northwestern, they went on the floor knowing they were going to win. Can we find that confidence? Hopefully!!.

It could be, but it will be full of rolls of pennies. I don't think that will entice any recruits, though.

14-18 7-11 in conference 1-1 in Conf tourney Almost what I thought at the beginning of the season.

Horne and Gill were huge tonight. 10-14 from the floor, 6-9 from 3, 2-4 from the line, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 turnover. We were +20 when Gill was in the game.

Horne saved us from an embarrassing loss. I guess there is 4 seconds left.

Quit being nice Kent and Matt. Southern is a terrible basketball team. We are ahead 6 points to this team with 7 minutes to go in the game. This is a team we should be naming our score with all our walk-ons playing the last 4 minutes of the game.

This team has to be the most frustrating team. Gill misses free throws, Webster misses the front end, Jacobson misses 2 free throws.
