I think that things are going in the right direction because Miles has done this before. Like 3 times before. Doc had only had success with other's players in D1. Barry had had success but I don't remember if he built a program from the bottom up. So that is why I feel more comfortable right now and think I will be really comfortable in my SEAT WHEN WE WIN OUR FIRST NCAA GAME. Because I will be there where ever it is. I want to see it live. Might die after that, but would die a happy man.

Remember when Danny was here he always talked about breaking the season down into game chunks. I think he used 4 games at a time, so that the season didn't seem so long and that way the players don't spin out of control if something bad happened. (i.e. losing streak, always wanted to use i.e. ) I kind of did that when the Big started. I don't like to look ahead too much because I tend to then not worry about what is going on right now. That would be in sports and my personal life also. But the first 4 were games that we played most likely weren't winnable. HOWEVER, the next 4 are winnable if we continue to play like we are. After these 4 games I haven't looked at any more, but it does help make the season more easy to handle mentally. Well for me anyway.

We do still have Andre, and this means he will need to play a few more minutes per game. The thing I fear about Andre is that he won't get a call in the Big. Monsters like Nix will bounce off of him and because no body else ever has, they will call the foul on Andre. That will bring in the next guys who are thinner. Under Armor shoes are terrible. At least they where 2 years ago. My son bought them for football, they just made it through 2-a-days. Got a replacement pair. Didn't last much longer.

One thing that Miles does that reminds me of Nee is giving the players rest. Remember when Danny would say we will take tomorrow off and watch some film and maybe shoot around, let them get their legs back. I think Miles understands that very well and it might help a bit, not much but maybe better than how Doc kind of ran things.
