Think that Miles thought he would "come along" as the season wore on so he played some early. 2min. but did play early. Now he hasn't "progressed" like the staff had hoped and unfortunately he has a burned redshirt because of it. Kind of a big OOOPS.

Here is the McDonald's basketaball website. http://www.mcdepk.com/2013allamericangames/media.html The list is HUGE. Weird too, like only 1 from Nebraska, and 1 from Missouri. But a boat load from Iowa, Even a set of twins from Danville. I didn't dig enough to see how you get on the list, but it seems the best basketball in the country is played in Iowa and Oklahoma.

He is 1 of 24 nominees for the state of Texas. Anybody know how many are nominated in the country each year? Also very cool. I think I also read that Agau was the only one from Nebraska.

Have they gotten better this year? Don't give up on a kid this early. At the end of the season he will sit down with the coaches and they will figure out what is best for both him and the team. Some positives from tonight. 1) Shavon Shield's willingness to take the team on his back. 2) David Rivers guarding of their 7 footer and his all out hustle. 3) Glimpes of what the Huskers will play like when Miles has his players and a year or two in the system. 4) Shavon Shields play. 5) The red shirts being into the game, being good teammates. 6) Seeing what GATA can get us if we played it for a whole game or half. 7) Shavon Shields play. 8) JT may be giving us another option this season and next. 9) Didn't quit and make this a 40 point loss. We lost and it really stinks, BUT there were some hope for the future that shined though. Now where did that pitcher of kool ade go.
