I spent the last 20 years in Mpls. and have watched a load of BAD Wolves basketball.... Not only did they get Butler & Patton on draft night, they've also signed Jeff Teague, Taj Gibson & Jamaal Crawford. They might actually be a trendy pick to make some hay in the play-offs this year.

Since I'm a glass 1/2 full guy, I'm assuming we'll have Copeland from the get go, so here's my guess as to who trots out on the court 11/16 vs. St. John's: Watson Palmer Turner Tshimanga Copeland I think Allen will move Palmer out of the starting line-up by Conference play, & Roby is a wild card. Some will argue for Gill, I get that, but I'm not quite sold on him yet.

The three they name are no-brainers, I'll limit the list to 5 and go with Steffon Bradford & Kimani Ffriend as the other 2, what the hell...

Just my two cents, but I think Bo Spencer & Dylan Talley are getting a short shrift too...

I saw this kid play in person at the State Tournament and was highly impressed. He was an absolute TERROR at the top of a 1-3-1 zone. Evidently the allure of the PAC12 and the West coast was too much for the local rubes to compete with. Is he a "program changer"? No, but he would have been a nice "get". Any guesses when Miles will land his first In State recruit?

The lack of love for JBD is STUNNING- He was the last legit post player we had that could score with his back to the basket. Who could forget that Texas game when we knocked 'em off? Get with it gang & scroll back thru your mental Rolodex...

The only way Miles is going anywhere is if he gets canned. He's not just going to pick up and go to New Mexico (New Mexico? for Christs sakes) and Crean AINT comin to Nebraska, no way, no how. It all strikes me as "fake newsish" or the wild rantings of a "D" list scribe.

Eichorst is scheduled to have a Presser next week that is supposed to address the "State of the Program." Hopefully he will shed some light on Tim's contract, the transfers, and where we are headed. I wish I had a better read on SE, but he doesn't strike me as the a shot & a beer kinda guy...
