    Mays played with the Minneapolis Millers in 1951 before he was called up by the Giants. They would often have Day/Night Double Headers with the St Paul Saints each Team hosting a game. Fans would often times ride the Street Cars between the two cities.

    Ahneman has transferred to Cretin-Derham Hall in St Paul MN for his Senior Year. This of course is the Alma Mater of Former Cornhusker Great at QB Mark Mauer & his First Ballot HOF Nephew Joe “Baby Jesus” Mauer.

    I look at like we were the Third Place Team in the B1G & we have a realistic chance to be BETTER. Now that might not translate to the same number of Wins & Losses, but that my friends is why they play the games.

    You can Mix & Match with Players this Tall & Talented. No Jordy Tsimangas to be seen, it’s a LONG way off but Fred has built a sustainable Roster that should keep us in the upper tier of the Conference moving forward.

    Just like the past couple of seasons, we have TOO many good players. But as we all know these things have a way of sorting themselves out. Seems like a lot of guys can contribute at different Spots, we’ll just have to see who’s got that Fire in the Belly.
