The problem as far as metrics are concerned is how bad we lost so many games. And aside from autobids, there are no Q3/Q4 teams in the NCAA tournament. The committee wants to pick teams who have shown they can win these bigger games.

It's really going to bite us if we let them stick around through much of this second half. I think that's the more frustrating part. Need to close these things out. We'll see how we come out in the second half.

I feel like I've seen more airballs from Minnesota in this first half than I've seen in a Nebraska basketball game all season.

There's a lot of unknowns with the Pac-12 in the near-term that are left answered and has its risks. But it's still a major step up from SJSU...that is, unless the Pac-12 brings them into the conference

Maybe it's just me, and maybe it's just the way this season has unfolded, but getting an at-large bid in the NCAA tournament is far from my mind right now. Maybe moreso in a week. Preseason my expectations for a "good" year was to make the NIT. And, although we derailed a bit, we're right back on track. But even at 11-14 at the time, we likely needed 6+ wins to make it into the NCAA tournament. We're at 3-0 right now which is fantastic. I'm just not in the frame of mind to be scouring the internet for Delaware State and Marist stats and live stream links. Not just yet.

And that's when we realized we couldn't compete pre-NIL because we didn't have a varsity boxing program.
