Yeah, I don't have a solution but I'm all for "rewarding" teams who schedule tougher games. Or maybe phrased a bit differently, penalizing those teams less for a loss to much stronger opponents. Otherwise you're just incentivizing teams to play against 300+ level opponents.

It's also important to state that this is the time of the year where just about every bubble team has key win opportunities to improve their resume. We're not alone in that.

For those interested, here's what the HHCC participant distribution looked like for predictions. Note: Predictions happened at two parts of the season. #1 was right before the first regular season game (after the exhibition game). That check-point requested predictions for Non-Conference Wins and Total Wins. #2 was right before the first conference game. That check-point requested predictions for Conference Wins. In short: Only 5% predicted we'd get to 22 total wins 29% predicted we'd get to 10 non-conference wins Originally only 8% predicted we'd get 12 conference wins; that improved to 9% predicting 12+ conference wins

Watching some of these halftime recaps for the day and they're just showing Caitlin Clark walk into the stadium high-fiving people, then showing the final basket to tie the game and take it to OT. Then fast forwards to Iowa winning the title. Pretty disingenuous for Nebraska, and even the other Iowa players, if you ask me.
