  1. Uh oh... you didn't buy any tickets from this guy in the parking lot, did you?
  2. I'm not 100% sure on the execution of this, but it is possible that 3rd parties like Ticketmaster and StubHub might have it in their terms that the seller has to release the new tickets to the buyer again, otherwise they'll be charged for the tickets (since the seller has to provide their credit card number to be able to sell tickets on their marketplace).
  3. At least we didn't lose to a FCS school this past Saturday... Beaty is now 3-34 in his 4th season at Kansas, having more FCS losses (2) than FBS wins (1): https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/the-monday-after-there-are-plenty-of-options-but-no-easy-answers-for-kansas-football/amp/
  4. Maybe the wedding party or the guests will have a rain delay that day?
  5. We paid over $1M for them to come into town to play us. I'm certain they could have found arrangements. And an LJS report mentioned that we found accommodations for them. I'm simply not buying it.
  6. It's not the worst thing. At least Colorado didn't get to see any footage of Frost's squad. And there's a chance we find a makeup game at the end of the regular season just like they did at UCF. Sure would've been nice for our team to get some game reps in, but I can wait another week.
  7. At least there's one positive thing that came out of all of this. Frost knows how to schmooze a recruit's father of a different Husker program:
  8. Wait...winter is only two days away?
  9. Who has too much gear? I must be going to the "Hardly Has Any Husker Basketball Gear" store.
  10. Michigan State is on the wrong side of the news again. Sadly, two lives were left too short in this one. https://deadspin.com/michigan-state-coach-was-texting-about-strip-clubs-befo-1828680993/amp
  11. Does Heady have tiny feet?
  12. I'd have to agree with this. And also, why would you want to have that animosity lingering in your locker room throughout the whole season? That can really bring team morale down.
  13. I always get back flashbacks of Taylor Martinez and his dad every time I hear that name come up. This will take some time to get used to.
  14. Go Because: - There's value being a big fish in a little pond - You can make an immediate impact - You can be the star - You like the idea of building and earning something - Winning that first NCAA tournament game can get you a lot of free national attention Don't Go Because: - It's cold - It's in Nebraska (where's Nebraska?) - You'd have to put more work in to see similar win/loss results at a more superior program - You have to deal with a less talented roster - Football comes first at the university - The school has little tradition/pinnacle success - It is the only power conference program without a NCAA tournament win
  15. How long is this contact effective?
  16. A one-game suspension for the Michigan/Ohio State game would be a much bigger punishment than this three-game joke.
  17. It could very well be the opposite though. Seems like he'd be a lot more hands off than Eichorst. Eichorst was the master of "hide and go seek."
  18. I already ran out of all my alcohol after dealing with the RPI last season.
  19. Well that's not good for the Buffalos of the world who based their entire schedules off of optimizing their RPI.
  20. We're going to need another successful season this year in order to keep the trains on the tracks though. Who knows what's going on in Moos' head, but any major changes can derail any positive progress made on and off the court.
  21. LJS chimes in here: https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/husker-hoops-extends-offer-to-son-of-dwyane-wade/article_a076f4df-b2e7-5991-91ed-11f4d59ad229.amp.html
  22. My guess is the OWH is cleaning up shop and trying to find ways to cut expenses.
  23. I wonder if we've got Delaware State on our speed dial.
