  1. Clemson sure is a good team. Let's beat them.
  2. According to Miles and his team of calculators, 11-9 would get us a 5 or 6 seed:
  3. NCAA said they cap margin of victory at 10 points though, so something isn't adding up.

  7. Had our first true test and failed bad. Finished 1-1 in the tournament, then a nice little rebound game. On to the next week. 8. It's looking like this for me: 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Notre Dame 4. Oklahoma (should be 5, but the committee will have them at 4 until the conference championship games) 5. Georgia 6. Ohio State 7. Central Florida
  9. I hear boxing in the offseason is a good way to get you into the NIT.
  10. Hey, I'll take that over the Eastern Illinois scare last season!
  11. Sure. But no reason to give them banners upon banners for conference titles. Just another talking point to add to the fuel for those blue sweaters.
  12. Even at 0-6, I was seeing some special things brewing for this team that left me with a "well it sucks for our seniors, but this could be the start of a rebuild that we're really going to come to appreciate." For those non-Husker fans who kept asking me how I felt about the coaching hire at that point, I just directed them to the offensive production, where we would be without miscues and penalties, and how when we were 0-6 we could have been 4-2 had we known how to finish games that early in the season. Opponents better not sleep on us next season, because we are not only building a better program but Frost is building a team and university culture that we haven't seen in many years. Not 'us against our fanbase'; but 'us with our fanbase.'
  13. I disagree with everything but the last part
  14. Once Thanksgiving is over, it's onto the next holiday...
  15. 80 B.C.? Or 80 A.D.?
  16. I'd say you're crazy, but it turns out last year that we were fighting to even be on the bubble since early December.
  17. Eastern Nebraska - 82 Western Illinois - 52
  18. I'm sure StatTracker was lovin' it. Speaking of "lovin' it," this post was sponsored by McDonald's. I'm lovin' it!
  19. Here's the current outlook for Big Ten teams: Illinois - 1-2: v. Evansville (W), w. Georgetown (L), neut. #3 Gonzaga (L), neut. Iowa State (Tue) Indiana - 3-1: v. Chicago State (W), v. Let's keep pushing forward!
  20. This team is different. We're not only finding ways to win, but we're stepping on the gas pedal throughout the full game rather than playing at the level of our opponent. We're winning the first game of the early season tournament and matching up against a true opponent rather than Marist and Long Beach State. We're getting the attention from the coaches and some of the media and being able to handle the pressure. We're playing as a team that not only wants to win, but knows how to win. This could really turn out to be a fun year!
  21. Sagarin isn't an acceptable/approved ranking?
