Why are people all up in arms about 2019 games all of a sudden when just this morning people were focused on the Creighton game? That game is here now. Let's go into Saturday, put a show on for Creighton, have them warm the bus up early, and send them packing so we can get our confidence back as a team and as a fanbase.  Even Michigan was 7-3 (1-1) on Dec. 4, 2017.

I'm assuming this is to try to grow interest in a major market? If that's the case, then it's sad that the conference can't draw enough attention right in their back yard, let alone adding teams like Rutgers and Maryland to grow the East coast markets.

There are currently 9 of 14 Big Ten teams ranked in the Top 25. Sure, that will change over time, but this is not the same conference as last season. We'll have plenty of "significant win" opportunities. But yes, we probably should at least split the next two games if we don't want to make our lives difficult in 2019.

TWO THINGS THIS HHCC ROUND: 1) Score prediction for Nebraska vs. Creighton (as usual). 2) (BONUS -5 points) Predicting the exact number of three-pointers made (3PM) by Nebraska during this game (e.g. I am looking for an answer like "10").

I sure hope we don't have to wait another 4 years to be ranked again.

Yup. 24-9 run by Minnesota to finish off the game is not the fault of officiating.

This game just slowed down a lot. Both in terms of pace and intensity.

The Big Ten is down this year, so...

Half of our teams in the last decade wouldn't have had the talent or mindset to be able to come back firing the way we did after Minnesota rolled back and took the lead.

This court is so blinding. I'm going to need to make an eye appointment after this one.

Illinois not all that bad. I think we'll look back and see that they just didn't get the right breaks in a few games that could've made them 6-2 instead of 2-6.

No hate for Omaha. Not hate for Lincoln. Or even Scottsbluff. But exactly what @49r said. And why try to compare yourself to those cities? Trying to be more like those cities takes away from what's special about those cities in Nebraska. Because, honestly, it's not for everyone.

Here are just a handful of metropolitan regions that are larger than #59 Omaha/Council Bluffs: Honolulu Tulsa Tucson Birmingham Salt Lake City Louisville Richmond Raleigh Memphis Milwaukee Indianapolis Kansas City Las Vegas Pittsburgh Portland Charlotte St. Louis And none of those listed above even crack the Top 20.

I get the point of the post. But if Ohio State is usually on the outside looking in for the playoffs, then we have a Big Ten problem. A drop in talent in the Big Ten likely only makes it worse.
